The high gloss finish is satisfactory, and very reflective, which allows the wheel to stand out. I usually stay away from black wheels, but these do not look like a steel rim missing a hub cap. I noticed a couple small flaws in the finish, but only noticeable at 1 foot away. I love that the center caps are additionally secured using the 3 accents found on the wheel. It only has a single anchor point, like most low end wheels with center caps, but again, the additional support from the accents helps greatly. Removing these caps is not as complicated as it may seem. Using an allen key, only four bolt screws need to be removed, and the cap easily releases with two of the three accents still attached. The additional, interchangeable accents are also a pleasant option... Chrome or Black. These accents are plastic, however, I am suspicious of their long term durability.
