This stuff smells so look good, I just want to eat my hair up, even though I know I shouldn't. Shampooing and conditioning with the yuzu and starfruit scented hempz products, and then using this texturizing spray on damp (or even dry!) Hair has yeilded fantastic results for me. Accentuating my natural waves and adding a delicious smell to my locks, while retaining the softness. I wouldn't reccomend using this product multiple days in a row without washing in between, because it will build up in the hair and make it difficult to brush, as with any sea salt texturizing spray. However, the addition of hemp oil softens and the scent is phenomenal. Great job on this one, Hempz!

The first thing that stands out about this spray is the scent. Think of really sweet candy like sweet tarts or smarties. It's 'very' sweet. It's not a hairspray in that it'll hold your hair in a pristine style but rather a spray you'd use for a messy beachy look. I personally love that messy look. It gives a matte appearance, not a shiny one - which will give you a casual & relaxed style. There's a lot of all natural ingredients in this which is nice. I actually like the idea it's made with sea salt as that seems appropriate when advertised as a summer/beachy spray. If you've ever used dry shampoo, you'll know the feeling it gives your hair - this spray gives a similar feel. If you're looking for texture, you'll definitely get that from this spray. If you're the type that likes to spend the whole day at the beach, throw this in your bag and spritz it on after coming out of the water to keep that look.

I recently got some layers cut into my hair and can style it very quickly with a few spritzes of this spray and a quick and easy blow-dry. I have straight hair that is fine but a lot of it and it tends to get flat. This spray really helps to add some texture and volume and I can even go another day without washing it with some dry shampoo. I am a fan of Hempz products and love their body wash and lotions. This is another great addition to the line.

According to my wife's review:
I have fine, straight Asian hair that can be limp and lifeless sometimes. I have bangs that I blow dry to style but for the rest of my hair, I don't like to expose to much heat. To avoid breakage and loss, I also don't wash my hair everyday. I love the effect this Salt Spray for my second-day hair. Without it, my hair is oily at the roots and feels heavy. With a few sprays of this and a cool blow-dry, my hair with layered cuts, has more bounce and texture. It also smells very sweet and fresh, reminds me of pineapples or coconuts at the beach. I haven't tried it for after beach spray, but I'm sure it'll make saltwater submerged hair a lot prettier.

Another plus that I really appreciate is that this is made of mostly natural ingredients with no harsh chemicals to affect hair health or the environment!
