Extremely gentle, compassionate, and to the point. This book is best read in increments in order to process the information and work through emotions affected by subject matter of Abortion and Post-Abortion Syndrome (PAS). It is a book that can be read by women who have had an abortion and have been affected spiritually, physically and emotionally. It can be read by women who may be considering abortion and it can be read by men who have experienced abortion as part of their relationship with a woman or women. It is delicately written and has supportive information with helpful resources where you can get treated with dignity and respect. Thank you to the author S. Masse' for your courage, extraordinary testimony, and the passion to help others who are going through similar situations. You are a blessing from Almighty God Yeshua Ha Mashiach. God bless you!

After reading Sydna Masse's book Her Choice to Heal I couldn't help but reflect on the fact that when one is forgiven much through the redemptive work of Christ, one desires to do much for the kingdom in return. Author Masse's life displays the grace of God she experienced after having had a traumatic abortion. She is real and very transparent and will walk you through her journey in an effort to ultimately provide healing and hope to your heart. This book is for individuals that know others suffering from the trauma of abortion or for those that have personally had an abortion and need healing strategies.
The author confesses the reality that most following an abortion will suffer deeply and silently from post- abortion syndrome (PAS)and shares the following:"Though women seek out abortion as a solution to stressful circumstances, abortion itself can become a contributor to long-lasting stress of a different kind.". Though some may confess to family and friends, others do not confess, withdraw into themselves, and trust no one.
You may find yourself identifying with some of the root causes leading to an abortion such as a parent having an affair, marital breakup resulting, and then rejection occurring by a parent regarding yourself. This book examines some characteristics of post-abortive women while providing remedies to heal one's heart. Here you will find strategies to address unresolved anger, questions you should contemplate if you feel called to speak publicly and how you can memorialize your aborted child.
Overall, it is a positive book filled with hope in allowing one to realize that your sin is redeemable. She shares the following with us: "God sees all sin equally- no one worse than another. And He loves us in spite of our sins- whether it's a lie or an abortion- because the price of our sin has already been paid for us in the sacrifice of Christ."
This book is anointed to aid one and God has used the author powerfully on staff at Focus on the Family and now in her non- profit organization Ramah International. Contact information will be given where you too can gain further resources or make a call as needed. Allow the healing power of Christ to set you on a path of wholeness and if need be to allow this author and her staff to minister to you in a powerful way.

I wish this book existed before entering therapy sessions with my therapist.
Abortions isn’t for everyone and sometimes turning the page is harder than it seems.
This book just ended up being my acceptance and moving on for me at least. This book describes the moment and each feeling that you experience from the start to end.
I don’t usually advertise anything unless I believe in it.
Please read this book and don’t dismiss it, it could even help someone who is trying to heal at this exact moment and hasn’t found closure. Highly recommend this book!!

I know at the time I had my abortion, there was no resources readily available to me...so I was in so much pain without having any idea what was going on...I knew I felt regret, remorseful, and etc....but I didn't know exactly why and why I should allow myself to get out of pain...
Anyways, this helped me find some understanding about why forgiveness is such a hard step and how to...I'm not the same person I was many years ago when I made that choice...And now I'm making a different choice to heal because we all need forgiveness regardless of religion.
Synda is very open with her own story and I appreciate feeling like I can relate to some of her thoughts. I know we've all been taught of how to appear well on the outside but full of pain and shame on the inside - so she makes you feel safe through your journey.

This book is part of a great set of materials (Her Choice to Heal: Recovery Guide and A Journey in Ramah: A Daily Devotional). The study has a strong foundation in the Bible and leads you on a journey of healing. There is no quick fix when you've had an abortion, but this book helps you "pass through the waters" (Isaiah 43:2). Speaking from experience, Sydna lays it all out. I have led multiple groups through this book and it has touched them in wonderful ways. I’ve seen many women grasp hold of Christ’s forgiveness but struggle with their own. Just a few of the chapters include: My Story, Denial, Anger, Forgiveness, Grieving, and Meeting in Paradise. So many times while reading this book, women in the class have nodded in agreement, finally feeling like they are not alone in their feelings, fear, and shame. God has used Sydna’s materials to allow many women to heal from their brokenness and find peace and joy in Christ. Finding a support group of women to experience the material with has been invaluable.
