I personally believe this book was better than the entire Brother Nightwolf Trilogy. I'd rather read more about Fensa and Ola's love stories than the Triplets. Although, I did enjoy Knud's story.
Spins you round
Smacks your forehead.
Knocks you down.
And that's just while you are reading.
When you take a break to...like...live your actual life you find yourself pulled in and thrown back...like Fenny.
Time to Reread Her Dragon Captor.
This story has so much intrigue and suspense that is not usually found in paranormal stories.
Looking forward to reading the follow on books.

This author is ambitious. And she manages to make these 2 characters fall in love- although there are 15K years between them (this not May December romance anymore. Think Prehistoric Social Media kinda gap!!!!). He's a Dragon from a different planet, she's a werewolf. He was snake like at the beginning (unemotional, clinical); she has some serious mental issues. And time travel jet lag.
In the end they have a child, change the course of humanity And learn a lot about themselves.
I did like the characters. But the gap was just too much. It doesn't help that I know little of the back story (Nordic mythology). And their sex antics were too much for me. The sheer performance and lack of tenderness is exhausting. I understand some sexual practices keep readers hooked but I still find them disgusting. And being a Dragon or a wolf in heat is no excuse.
Also unsurprisingly, with this amount of differences, the characters end up with some serious mental anguish. Phew!!! If I wanted something uglier than real life I wouldn't be reading romance.
All in all, I seriously do not recommend this story despite these interesting characters.
