The seller packaged this extremely well so there was no breakage issue. I’m trying to find a replacement for Alterna’s “Bamboo 48-Hour Volume Spray” that they sadly discontinued. This doesn’t compare with it in the least but it does add a bit of volume to my fine hair. The scent is pleasing and my hair doesn’t feel crunchy. That being said, I’ll continue my search for a product that works as well as the Alterna spray. So frustrating when a manufacturer discontinues a great product.

I find the scent to not be over powering at all but it definitely does smell good and like coconut. This isn’t the kind of sea salt spray that’s going to give you crunchy early 2000s curls so if that’s what you’re looking for id look else where. This is soft. No crunchy texture but when sprayed in my hair and left in a bun when it dried it did the trick without all the gunk on my hair (which is amazing and preferred for me as I have fine hair). I’d recommend it & would purchase again!!!

I love this product. My daughter received it as a gift at a hotel she stayed in. I have wavy hair. Hers is straight so she gave it to me to try. I loved it and ordered a full size when it was gone. If my waves have gotten a little wonky, frizzy or need a little refreshing, a few sprays and some scrunching and they look beautiful. Water does NOT do the same thing. I am a retired hairdresser and would have loved to have had this on my backbar for my curley haired girls. PS. Smell is amazing

(I’d say similar to a margarita), defines my wavy hair really well- especially on day two if I lightly wet and respray my hair then re-plop it, all natural ingredients that are Earth friendly, glass bottle that’s infinitely recyclable (unlike plastic), my curls are soft rather than crunchy.

Cons: the yummy smell isn’t super strong after it dries, frizz control isn’t perfect

All in all I’m happy with it and will buy it again!
