Product Description

The Hi-Lift LM-100 Lift-Mate allows any Hi-Lift jack to lift a wheel or vehicle directly from the wheel. Many trucks and SUV's have larger tires and/or lift kits that can prevent use of a standard Hi-Lift jack, when lifting from a bumper, due to exceeding the lifting length of the jack. The Lift-Mate is designed to operate in a manner that allows the wheel or vehicle to be lifted directly from the wheel, greatly reducing the amount of travel up the jack bar required to lift the wheel to an adequate and safe height.

For most vehicles a hi-lift jack is useless without this accessory, since there's nowhere to connect the jack to the vehicle that wouldn't result in body damage. Even for those vehicles with metal bumpers or sliders the ability to directly jack up the wheel is usually the best method for getting unstuck.
I usually just leave this attached to my jack, only removing it occasionally if the situation warrants. I've gotten a lot of use out of it and highly recommend it.
Warning: Don't plan on jacking a vehicle that isn't stuck with this jack or attachment, especially on a front wheel. It's not stable and if you're steering wheel isn't locked it's even less stable.

This is the perfect accessory for anyone that goes off road that doesn't have custom bumpers. I don't know why it has a bolt to keep it on the jack, I replaced my with a quick release pin from the hardware store.

i have a jeep XJ cherokee with about 6" of lift and 33" tires. I have a 48" hi-lift jack. I got the smaller one mainly b/c of space as i wanted it to fit under my rear seat in my jeep. With the 48" i can use my front bumper or my rocker rails as jack points, however it would be pretty difficult to get a tire off the ground unless i maxed out the jack. This item helps a lot to raise the wheel off the ground and be able to put something underneath the wheel for better traction like a log or rock. My only small complaint is that there is a nut that holds this onto your hi-lift. would be better if the nut was a bit longer and that it came with a wing nut instead of a lock nut. Otherwise the build quality is very good, it has a rubber pad that goes up against the tire. The hooks are extremely strong and the straps are stitched very very well.

This product works well. However as some others have said a bolt to hold the thing on the jack isn't really needed and is rather cumbersome to remove and install. A quick pin would have been better. DO YOU HEAR THAT HI-LIFT?

A very simple concept but someone had to be the first to invent it. I suspect others will soon imitate this.

Photos show lifting tires. No doubt it would work fine for that - especially with heavy, over size tires (as shown) or farm equipment tires. But it's good for so much more.

A piece of steel under the corner of a small building, set hooks under the steel, and lift the building for re-leveling. Hook it under a mower deck of a riding mower to remove/sharpen blades.

You trust your jack, now trust the accessories they provide so you can get the most from it. Be sure to get the base for the jack, better than carrying around a piece of 2x6 and no one will toss it on your camp fire, either.

First, this is a big, substantial unit; the pictures don't give a good idea of the relatively massive size. The position of the wheel to be lifted (the holes into which the hooks fit), and the positioning of the jack to the tire (you don't want the jack pressing too hard on the sidewall) are also somewhat critical. The most important limitation, however, is you can't use it to jack up a flat tire unless you first raise the vehicle at the flat, then lower it onto a jack stand while you change it, then reverse the procedure to let the vehicle down.

This limitation is offset by the additional uses and ranges it gives your jack in non-automotive applications.

I tried lifting my 94 f250 with this, but the strap that holds the actual strap in the upside down "V" shape broke because the center caps on my rims made the "V" have to spread out too much. What I did was cut the strap off and replaced it with 1/2" chain and a couple of quick links. This way the chain will be stronger than the original strap and also I am now able to adjust where the hook is along the chain. So it works but if you are going to lift anything heavier than a Jeep, know that you may need to make some adjustments yourself.

Great addition for my Hi-lift jack. They should have included a quick release pin rather than a bolt to attach it to the jack. The hand tightened bolt vibrated loose and was lost on the first trail ride. Other than that it was well designed and of good quality and of great use the first time out.
