I have 2 6v servos controlled through a PCA9685 using a Arduino Uno R3 as a platform for controlling the servos with 2 10k potentiometers. Pretty neat, although there is zero documentation that come with these, so unless you've already got some information about using these you might be in a situation where you'll need to do research to supplement the lack of documentation. Luckily the Arduino community provides essential hidden knowledge to the public regarding electronics, usually free of charge, and helps to demystify these useful electronic modules.
I can't imagine why a manufacturer wouldn't want an informed public to know of the usefulness of the product they're producing, which is to be sold, but these aren't too hard to work with, and looking into how to do interesting things with these isn't too tough either with all the open source projects out there that call for using these.
