Some of the acting is Really Bad!

While the main character was a very good actor, some of the supporting actors were just painful to watch! Some of the situations were predictable and corny, but then everyone likes a happy ending!

This movie has a lot of heart and humor! As a child of the 80's, it reminded me of a lot of my favorite flicks. Classic story line and lots of great music. Tastefully directed and well-written. Bravo!

I was fortunate to catch the preview at the Hollywood Film Festival a few months ago and was very entertained. The film displayed many varied emotions of laughter and sadness.
There was rarely a dull moment.
Director Alex Grossman has clearly displayed his multi-talented chops by guiding the actors through a maze of emotions as well as his adept handling of the script, cinematography, editing and soundtrack.
I definitely recommend this very entertaining film and I look forward to seeing future work but this director.

A lot of heart, this one.
Saw this film during its festival run and loved it! It's hard to balance a heartfelt coming-of-age story and a teen comedy, but this film really nails it. Really had me laughing my guts out in parts. Do not miss this.
