Do not buy this for the ones you love. It's not what you think of when you think of Hickory Farms. First off, this is not cheddar cheese. It's ultra-processed "American" cheese; in other words, it's nothing but greasy Velveeta. Inside the box of crackers is a small plastic bag containing about 10 broken cracker pieces. The sausage tasted similar to what I assume my dog's treats taste like. Avoid this mess.

I bought this as a gift for a neighbor who has always been kind to us, however, the box came all smashed in the corner and dented. I’m sure the product inside in undamaged but I’m dissatisfied because now it just looks like I’m regifting him something I didn’t want :(

I used to get these "Summer Sausages" as stocking stuffers as a kid- we went camping all the time and anything non-perishable was good to have. Its basically a soft Slim Jim, with more outright fat. I bought a few of these for my middle-age brothers around Christmas to remind them days long-gone. Good stuff.

I purchased this for a white-elephant gift and it suited that purpose nicely. However the actual summer sausage it comes with is pretty tiny. I would pay double if they would bring back the old 'beef stick' product that Hickory Farms used to have.

Do NOT buy this item! It is way smaller than expected! And you're paying $18 some for it when Walmart has the exact same thing for $8! Bought it as a Christmas gift, now we have to go buy a bigger one at a smaller price and we cant return it because it's NON-REFUNDABLE!!!!

That being said, he did mention that I forgot to pack "silverware" so he could eat it. If you get this, make sure you have utensils. Would've been awesome if some had been included but hey, that's my bad.

This is not the hickory farms I remember from days gone by . thr sausage was kinda flavorless and tiny , not much bigger than my thumb , I guess this is why my friends say I have sausage fingers. I'm a little bit sad . the cheese was very tasty though. But what can I expect for $18.00.

Box arrived upside down, with contents scattered. I bought it as a gift, but was way too embarrassed to give it as one. The contents were not as depicted in the photo, and so small were the portions, it was an expensive joke. never again will I buy Hickory Farms. I remember when They actually sold good products. Corporate greed. It was a very expensive snack for one person. Update, got a reply on this post from Layger asking me to delete it, as it is hurting their business. Well, if you were to offer me some sort of compensation, with an apology for ripping me off, I would be glad to delete it. Until then, it remains, as I was truly extremely disappointed by my transaction with Hickory Farms. It used to be a great product once upon a time, but now has left a bad taste in my mouth. Not only that, the tiny meat and cheese products were bland and tasteless. The only good thing about the purchase was the tasty, yet thimble sized mustard. What an incredibly, huge disappointment, and a total waste of my money. Shame on Hickory Farms. By the way, I will delete this post like you've asked of me only when I am compensated one way or another.
