Fair H.O. Game with decent, Colorful Images. Sadly, it CRASHES my Xoom Tablet ever time. Never got past 4th level. To be fair, other devices don't seem to have this problem with it. My OPINIONS...

PROS:
1). Beautiful Images and other game Graphics are nice.
2). Music is Nice and Serene. Pleasant DING sound when items are found.
3). Good game Options to Vary Difficulty and Style of Play.
4). Had a NO TIMER option and HINTS to make play more casual.
5). Objects are Changed or Reshuffled each time you play to alleviate boredom.
6). Permissions are Minimal and reasonable.

CONS:
1). Images are artificially TINTED to make objects harder to find.
2). No PINCH and ZOOM feature to help locate items.
3). TOO MANY LINKS and other Advertising is very Annoying.
4). Progress would NEVER SAVE on my device - Forced to start at beginning Every time.
5). It takes 4 Steps to EXIT game though Menus loaded with LINKS.
6). Crashes and Restarts my device after a short while of playing.

OVERALL: Not much Fun or Reply Value for me. Also gets too Repetitive without anything different or exciting to keep you Engaged (like Puzzles in better apps).

This game is strictly hidden objects, so if you want a storyline or something more, this is not the game for you. I liked the graphics, and the levels became more challenging as I went along. Objects are findable even without a zoom. My main complaint is that at times the screen was not very responsive. I had to tap the objects many times to get them to register and lost time on the clock in the process.(Playing on Kindle Fire). Otherwise a nice straightforward game that's suitable for all ages.

I love "hidden object" games, and I've played a lot of them on my Kindle Fire, including some earlier ones from DifferenceGames. The graphics have always been first rate, and "Where Fairies Dwell" is no exception. The game is tough but fair. On any given level, some of the objects are fairly easy to spot, but there are always some that are either pretty small or they're well camouflaged. You can ask for hints, but there are only six of them, so use them very sparingly. Instead of the usual countdown clock, there is a graphical timer bar that moves, with audible ticking in the last thirty seconds. I played in the "Find by Picture" mode (ideal for children who aren't reading yet), which is the easiest of the three modes. When you clear each level, there's a bonus round where you can really boost your score.

"Where Fairies Dwell" is the first game that I've played that links to Amazon's new GameCircle, which is Amazon's version of GameCenter. This should make gaming on the Kindle Fire and other Android devices a lot more fun to see how you're faring against the rest of the gaming universe.

I've played up through Level 12 so far, which is close to the end. I do have one significant issue. If the level you're on times out, you're forced to return to Level 1 and start over, which I don't like. That puts pressure on to finish the game straight through. If you want to take a break, press the Pause button, then press Resume to start playing again. I queried the app developer about this, and they said they may add a casual mode with no timer.

Replayability factor is good, since replaying a level brings up a different set of objects every time.

If there was an auto-save feature, I would give the game 5 stars.

Very nice game, pictures are beautiful. I like that you have 6 play options and hints. Music is nice also. I only played casual mode. Very difficult on my cell as there is no zoom option. please add that! It is the only reason I could not give 5 stars!
Overall, I recommend getting this game.

Wow! The graphics in this game are really gorgeous, with all kinds of whimsy abounding everywhere-the music is pleasant, too. I love the fact that each page is in a different hue, and the objects can either be larger or smaller than their picture, so it keeps you on your toes! The update has made the game even more enjoyable-I noticed you are not penalized for inadvertantly clicking in the wrong place anymore. Good move on the part of the developer-that WAS rather annoying! And I appreciate the casual mode that has been added. I play games to relax, NOT to get all tensed up because a clock is ticking!
I have played other games by this company, however, they deserve a pat on the back for this one-it is simply beautiful as well as enjoyable! Thanks, DifferenceGames! Great job! =)

It's just "okay". I played a few levels and wasn't really impressed. It's kinda hard to see all the items b/c the colors are so vivid. It's very pretty but again, hard to see the items you must find.

Where Fairies Dwell

What a lovely game! I'm a gamer and like Hidden Object games that have a storyline and puzzles but I'm also an insomniac so this game is absolutely perfect for all those hours I spend awake at night when I don't want to get out of bed and back on to my PC to play a full-length game. I flick on my kindle fire and I'm plunged into a scene of beauty: graphics, music, and (if playing casual mode) the ability to wander around and relax. Sometimes, during the day, I feel stressed so I find that a few rounds of Where Fairies Dwell relaxes me. It's a mini-vacation from reality!
