I make all my own ranch dressings since pretty much every kind in the grocery store aisle is loaded w/ vegetable oils and sugar/corn syrup. I make 1-1.5 cups of mayo w/ egg yolks and olive oil, then add a 2-3Tb of this stuff and another 1-1.5 cups of milk and we have enough ranch dressing for the week.
The price seems to fluctuate wildly...3 days after I ordered, the price shot up $3.00.
Still, I'm very happy with my purchase.
1/2 cup whole milk
2 tbsp ranch powder
add 1/2 cup real mayonaise
whisk to combine
refrigerate for a few hours to let thicken.
UPDATE: 4/14 - Just bought more today, but noticed it's slightly cheaper to just buy the canisters of the same ranch mix at walmart: 8oz canister for $6.92
A word of caution, the first ingredient is maltodextrin which is why things are sweeter with this, the third ingredient is salt. The biggest warning is number four which is MSG. The MSG is really why this is a good flavor enhancer, but a lot of people have issues with it so if you get the "Chinese Restaurant headache" you may want to avoid. It is not the same as using pure MSG like Accent, but still if you have issues it may be best to try something else.
