As usual, the only reason I can't give a five star rating is because of the small typos and slight mistakes which don't effect the story at all and is only a technical issue which I find in e-books. I don't think I've ever read an e-book yet which doesn't have such a mistake; of course, I notice this in hardback and soft cover books, too. I also notice misspellings and other mistakes on signs and menus in restaurants, also. I can't help it. LOL
The main thing I didn't like about both the first book and this one is that the author constantly repeats Tess' feelings and beliefs through out. We've read it once in the story and don't need a constant reminder. It was almost like preaching.
Despite this I was glued to my kindle and just tried to skim through the repetitive story areas. I have 2 more to go in the series so far and really hope there are more. I'm also hoping that Tess gets over her fears about her relationship with Kade and has a permanent love.
Note: The author's historical notes about Bucksport's, Maine at the end of the book were very interesting. Love it when a reader is filled in with this kind of info.
I LOVED THE HISTORY AND PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT. SEEMED A BIT EXCESSIVE IN BRING READERS UP TO DATE ON 1st Book,s information.
HOPE THEY CONTINUE TO GET BETTER AND BETTER.
