If you look at the second picture on the detail page, you will see pants lined up, gripped by the cuffs. No NO NO! that leads to sprung hangers and crimps in the fabric from the excessive tension. These hanger frames are tall enough to grip the pants below the cuff, where they belong, with room for the cuff above!! this is a great product.

With regard to function the hanger does NOT support the pants very well. There is a diminishing return toward the outside of the hanger due to the engineering. This causes the pant to collapse toward the outside over time.

Every hanger I received has issues. They are chipped, have massive gouges, or globs of varnish / stain on the finish. This is a cheaply finished product that apparently receives no quality assurance before being sent out. The finish is terrible.By jcat on December 2, 2018

Not a tight Squeeze and not "Non Slip"

These look nicely made, nice wood, arrived in good condition and soft felt liner inside. I use these to hang my slacks and jeans from the leg end when they come out of the wash to keep them wrinkle free while drying and organized. Although they do clasp the pants, the hold is not very tight. They are not as strong as older models of this type that I own. A very slight pull on the garment will cause the pants to slip out. Photos attached are a polyester type of material and show duplicate pairs used on the new and an older hanger. You can see the gap in the hanger on the right is wider as opposed to the older one I have on the the left allowing them to slip out with the slightest tug. I also use them on a pair of denim jeans. If not for the bottom seam on the leg of the jeans to catch them they, too, slip out. I am keeping these because I need the hangers, however I am not real happy with them and will do better research next time I need hangers of this type. I suggest you do the same. Why can't this country stop importing cheap Chinese junk to sell to us stupid Americans!

Will stretch out and lose tight grip.

I really liked these when I first got them, but within a couple weeks I realized they don't hold up well. If you plan to use them for the same thickness of material, they will be fine, but once you use them for a heavier thicker fabric, they lose their grip. As you can see in the photos, both hangers are closed, but the one I used on a thicker fabric has now stretched out so that it can no longer be used on something smaller.

I use these for hanging prints in my art exhibitions. I clamp mounted originals & prints back to back and hang them on a rail for customers to easily browse my work. They look smart and are well made and sturdy. Customers can easily unhook the artworks to look at them. I use two types; these cherry wood and bamboo ones from another company. However, with the bamboo ones the hooks always fall off the hanger when storing away which is a pain. These hooks always stay in place.
