The most ironic part of this book is that two individuals that purport to be experts on training would sell a massive block of 6 point font text that goes on for 240 pages. I have found more engaging reading material when reading medical journals describing the future potential evolution of organelles in bacteria (and felt I had wasted less time).
Finally, what is, perhaps, the biggest branding failure in the existence of humanity, this book goes to extreme lengths to ensure that HIL method (High Impact Learning) is in your mind when you read every single poorly-written paragraph. They use HIL to describe HIL, and I can guarantee the answer to any question in the book is HIL. If it isn't it was probably an oversight by the overly large editorial board. In fact, so ridiculous is the attempt to create this wonky brand, that the only citation I can recall is that of Webster's 1999 edition Dictionary so that the authors could define the word exquisite. A word that was being used in a bullet describing HIL.
Bottom Line: This is a self-aggrandizing, uninsightful pile of garbage written for the extremely transparent purpose of selling books and services to companies. Buy something better, which shouldn't be very hard.
For those familair with Robinsen's Performance Consulting, HIL will fill in the rest of the puzzle.
