But one thing that is simply important for books of this type is how read-able are they. Can you pick the book up, read it, put it down, and institute a change (start small!) or changes (over-achiever) that has a legitimate impact on your wellness. A lot of books fail here. They tell too many stories such that you forget the real message... they don't actually tell you what to do, instead just personal success of the author... too preachy and you feel badly about being yourself and put the thing down before it helps you.. whatever the case.
This isn't that type of book. This is one of the ones you read and a few chapters in you find yourself thinking about instituting a simple change or looking at your own wellness and learning something you need to work on.. and some suggestions.
The end goal of the book isn't to make you an NFL player, it is simply to give you knowledge and suggestions of ways to overcome your sedentary lifestyle (and the knowledge that if you sit at a desk for 8 hours a day... you are sedentary.. even if you go running after you work... you still need help for those 8 hours!).
Read it, you'll enjoy it and learn something new!
I also found that Todd has a website to go in more detail, you can find it here. http://www.healsittingpain.com/
