5☆ Excerpt from Review by Faridah Nassozi for Readers' Favorite
"Once again, Baibin Nighthawk and Dominick Fencer delivered an epic spy thriller guaranteed to give lovers of the genre an amazing reading experience. The High Yield Vector (Mark Savannah Espionage Series Book 2) is the ultimate making of spy stories as they should be told; espionage, greed, and the ultimate clash of intelligence agencies."

"What is great about this book is that surprises are plentiful and every chapter is an anticipation of what might come next. I think many more obstacles will come Mark's way. I am excited for the third book, and will read the first one in the meantime."
4☆ Excerpt from Review by Samantha Dewitt (Rivera) for Readers' Favorite
"I would recommend this book to readers who really like action and adventure stories because that's definitely what it is from the very first pages all the way to the end (though with a little bit of romance thrown in there too). The High Yield Vector is a continuation of Mark Savannah's story, but it's definitely not finished by any means. So I'll be watching for the next book."

5 out of 5 stars
The story Spy Thriller: The High Yield Vector: An Action-Packed Spy Thriller (Mark Savannah Espionage Series Book 2) by Baibin Nighthawk and Dominick Fencer is a thrilling terrorism/military/espionage book. Mark Savannah escapes the international arrest warrant hanging over his head by taking refuge in the Tuareg of Mali. When the resurgence of fighting causes him to change his plans he is forced into hiding in the Democratic Republic Of Congo working as a doctor at a hospital in Kinshasa. It is there that he becomes a direct witness to a transgenic plant project. There are huge risks being taken with the native population’s health. Mark again finds himself investigating the activities of the consortium, and once again he finds himself in the crosshairs to his mortal enemy who has never stopped hunting him.
This is the second book in a series. This story is fast paced after the first few chapters. The first few chapters bring you up to date on things that happened, reintroduce you to characters and lay the ground work for the rest of the book. The mystery, intrigue and storyline are first rate and make the book very hard to put down. The cast of characters are many, however they are essential to the plot of the book. I highly recommend this book if you love lots of action and mystery. I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else’s.
Corruption, violence and political intrigue permeate this Africa of 2008. However, compassion and nobility are also present, as medical volunteers valiantly strive to save the helpless victims of poverty and war. The demands of undercover work require the principal characters to change identities but thank goodness for the reader, Mark and Anaïs retain their first names.
Mark is recruited by his former intelligence associates to unravel the shifting alliances that drive the violence in the region. Humanitarian work serves as both cover and personal justification for this well-prepared flying doctor with spy credentials. Counterfeit drugs and substandard protective gear provide poor protection from rampant infectious diseases. The risk ramps up when an old adversary appears, putting Mark and his associates in direct physical danger. Toxic bananas and key characters with secret backgrounds serve to thicken the suspense.
Don't try to guess what comes next, because there are surprises in almost every chapter. This is a book that's impossible to put down.
It is jam packed with action and a lot of cool adventures that the characters go on, but the novel has a lot more depth than that. There is a little bit of romance and a lot of clever machinations, but once the novel sinks its teeth into you, it doesn't let go until the very end! Highly recommended series, and this entry will more than live up to expectations!
