I am disappointed that so many authors have allowed themselves to be seduced into writing porn whether it would be classified as soft porn with sex detailed between husband and wife, or more.
Otherwise brilliant evocative writing with the Highlands brought to life with differences between Picts and Scots highlighted. Tanya has obviously researched very thoroughly and has melded all together with a gifted touch. Characters were well developed and the enmity between clans well displayed. Really appreciated the inclusion of old language with the glossary to clarify.

I would like to read more about how Aidan and Lili got on during first few weeks of their marriage, their arguments and a general explanation why their relationship is strong at the end, why Lili suddenly trust Aidan, etc....
I have to say the end of the book is a bit confusing and everything happens really fast without sufficient information.
It was a good read, and don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this book, but I think the final climax of the story could have been developed more.
I am presuming that the Guardian of the Stone series will continue with Aidan's sisters stories and can't wait to read them..
