Eliza Knight can do much better. i am an expert on reviewing a Highlander Warrior, there is sex written all over him. Honest!
All my Books come from Amazon!
There was humor, adventure, sensuality and, yes, love in this historical romance. The main characters both suffered from misplaced guilt and were both likeable. Editing errors were minimal.

Ever since I read the words "The End" on The Highlander's Reward, I've been waiting for the second book in Eliza Knight's Stolen Bride series. That is precisely why I bought it the day it was released. I was not disappointed.
Blane Sutherland, younger brother to the Laird of Sutherland, is sent to fetch the Laird's new wife's sister from England. Since Blane has been passing himself off as an Englishman for years while he sold the Sutherland wool to England, he is the obvious choice to bring the girl to her sister.
Aliah de Mowbray is no shrinking violet. Even though she's been protected all her life, and plans to vow her life to the church, when the chips are down, she can handle a bow and arrow, much to Blane's surprise.
As they continue their dangerous journey from England to Scotland, Blane fears the biggest danger to him is losing his heart, and Aliah begins to second guess her decision to enter the church.
I thoroughly enjoyed The Higlander's Conquest. Blane and Aliah are a delightful couple, and their pull toward each other kept me turning the pages. Ms. Knight has done it again with vivid details, strong characters, and an engaging story. I strongly recommend The Highlander's Conquest, and if you haven't yet read the first book, The Highlander's Reward, do yourself a favor, and get that one, too.
Review by Callie Hutton,
Author of the Oklahoma Lovers series
I will however try the 3rd in the series when it comes out in December, perhaps it will be as good as the first one. I like the sound of Daniel Murray.
Blane and Aliah both have something in common. They believe they are responsible for their parents death. Aliah believes she is responsible for her mothers death in birthing her and has vowed to make penance for it by severing the church as a Nun. Blane is determined to find the English gang that killed both his parents and severely wounded him. He believes the attack was his fault. On their way to Scotland the two fall in love and do some heavy petting, but stop before it goes to far. Blane feels he has nothing to really offer Aliah an is dedicated to finding his parents murderers. and Aliah has vowed to give her life to the Church. For me this back an forth Angst between kissing and heavy petting and pulling away from each other was to much. There Reasoning why they can't be together went on to long. I was ready to say enough already!! Get together! The story is still pretty good and held my interest. Now I am moving on to read bk 3 The Highlanders Lady.

If I could give this book 3 1/2 stars I would. This is very similar to the first book of the series. Neither books are very riveting stories. Nice, sweet, predictable stories. Read morePublished 6 months ago by C. S.
I quite like Blane in this story. It took me awhile to warm up to Aliah. She did not feel quite genuine, at first. Read morePublished 8 months ago by Jayne d'Arcy
