Top Customer Reviews

By Michael Calabro on March 2, 2012
Owned one and loved it. Lets me have loose tea anywhere there's a microwave. Cover the bottom with a layer of tea, fill with water (leave 2 inches) and either microwave until it boils or pour boiling water (like from a kettle) directly into it. Steep to taste and then insert and slowly push the filter down. Virtually all of the loose tea stays under the bottom of the filter and the brewing stops because the tea is isolated from the water. The top tips up to allow one to drink or down to keep the tea hot. The outside of the glass gets warm, but not scalding.

I broke mine stupidly trying to empty the used tea leaves. I was too lazy to rinse them out and I upended it and tried to get them out by banging on the bottom with the heel of my hand. I broke the outer glass. This isn't the fault of the Brewfish, it's mine.

I loved it, and I'm going to buy a replacement. And this time I'm going to treat it more like a wine glass and less like a baking pan.

Bought this model for my wife. She bought me a Brewfish a year ago. We LOVE them. Not having to mess with a tea ball or bag is the best. Multiple steepings are easy even if you want to add a smidge. Also, its kinda pretty seeing the tea leaves swirl around in the water.
