A large body of literature discusses the preplanned destruction of the Twin Towers and of WTC Nr.7, while mainstream media have extensively reported about the reluctance of the Bush administration to investigate 9/11, the destruction of criminal evidence from Ground Zero and other facts suggesting a government cover-up. For the official 9/11 narrative — had it not been systematically and intensively promoted by all major media — would have been good stuff for a book on religious miracles.

About the Author

Elias Davidsson has pursued research in international law, human rights law and international criminal law. He obtained a research grant from the Icelandic Red Cross for a study on the effects of economic sanctions on human rights and had a number of substantial articles in the field of public international law, human rights law and international criminal law published in peer-reviewed law journals.

Davidsson was born in Palestine in 1941, in a neighborhood of Jerusalem where Jews, Christians and Muslims lived in peace side by side. Th ese early years left a deep mark on him. He has since lived in France, Germany, the United States, Iceland and Switzerland.

In parallel to his professional occupations, Davidsson has for many years been involved in activism and research regarding social and global justice, peace, anti-racism and human rights. He is co-founder of the Association Iceland-Palestine and a supporter of a democratic State in the whole of historic Palestine for Muslims, Christians and Jews. He rejects the existence of a Jewish state as incompatible with human rights norms. His writings include articles on multinational corporations, the IMF and the World Bank, the Palestine question, Zionism, economic sanctions and international law.

In 2002, he started research on the events of September 11, 2001, and founded the Icelandic chapter of the 9/11 truth movement.

I have read several books on the topic of the tragic events of that day. This is one of the better ones. I must agree with other reviewers about the way the book is written. There are some typos and punctuation problems but the book itself is very intriguing. There is some new information I have never come across before and it kept me wanting to read more and more. It is not the easiest book to follow along with but I was able to understand most of it.

The devil is in the details

This is probably the most important book I've read about the events of 9/11. Like the work done on the JFK assassination by Harold Weisberg, Sylvia Meagher, Howard Roffman and others, Davidsson meticulously focuses on the government's own evidence, and attempts to release more of it through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). The emphasis is on official documentation (or the lack of it), normal procedures not being followed, the lack of photographic evidence, the lack of a chain of possession for the evidence we have been shown, etc.

As with many other events, we have the familiar pattern of the official story being slowly revealed to the public by the corporate media, in quotes attributed to anonymous officials. These leaked stories change frequently until the final "official" version eventually emerges. Sometimes there are several "final" versions (we have three different, conflicting official accounts of President Kennedy's wounds, for example). If the government's investigation into 9/11 were subject to an outside audit by a reputable firm, it would fail miserably.

I challenge anyone who believes the official story to read this book and try to debunk it.

The author covers with sincere and obvious effort some aspects of the 9-11 Official Story that haven't been given much attention up to this point. He makes a very good case that the phone calls were all the result of one of the many live hijacking scenarios that the government was running, suspiciously enough, on the same day and that these same phone calls may have been the real victims playing a part according to a script. Too many calm people reporting murdered colleagues and that somehow (it's never explained how) the cockpit has been entered and the pilots dispensed with. Also with few exceptions, the background noise was quiet without the screaming and agitation (as well as engine noise) you'd expect if the plane was in the air at the time. Add in the unlikelihood that these phone calls could have been made at all and you have a real difficult time believing the official story. I think he's correct in his conjecture that duplicate planes were used and the 'hijackers' never existed.

The book needs a good proofreader and some editing; some missing words here and there, and some awkward phrases that appear to be due to the author's ESL status, but if there is a second edition I would expect these will be corrected; they don't detract from the content.

For those 9-11 'junkies' who like me are still fascinated by this greatest crime and puzzle of the 21st century, please see 'the anonymous physicist' and Jeff Prager's papers available on line for an impossible to refute discussion of how the towers were actually taken down. It wasn't thermite, which is beginning to look a lot like another disinformation scheme.

Like Mr. Davidsson, I have researched and written on aspects of the events of 9/11. In this book, he has upheld my respect for the thoroughness with which he writes.

For example, Davidsson goes into detail about each alleged call from the alleged flights. Read what he has to say and you cannot help but get it into your head that those calls were not about real hijackings.

Read also about the sloppy manner in which "evidence" was collected about planes and passengers and you will get a convincing legal argument that simple rules of evidence were not followed.

Read the whole book and you will forget about the official theory, if you haven't already.

Ich kann nur meine Bewunderung für die Akribie äußern, mit der Elias Davidsson den 9/11-Mythos, also die eigentliche "Verschwörungstheorie", Stück für Stück entlarvt und widerlegt. Übrigens ausschließlich mit Hilfe frei verfügbarer Dokumente (die letztlich wohl jeder sich beschaffen könnte, was aber kaum jemand tut). Eine großartige Leistung - und infolgedessen ein sehr empfehlenswertes Buch.

A political bombshell

Elias Davidsson's book is potentially a political bombshell. It has the persuasive scientific power to hopefully and finally make inroads into the academic community in investigating and deconstructing the 9/11 Myth. Mr. Davidsson meticulously compiles evidence that there is no proof that any of the alleged 19 hijackers boarded any of the 4 planes on 9/11. This of course shatters the entire myth and justification for the empires non-ending "war on terrorism" (an obvious oxymoron).
The second major focus of the book is a detailed analysis of the telephone calls from the alleged hijacked planes made to family members and ground personnel. This for me as a theater actor for some 40+ years is especially eye-opening, since it reveals such poor improvisational / emotional acting skills in a hypothesized life-threatening situation as to be unintentionally comical. No wonder some family members were surprised by the "calmness" of their loved ones during their conversations. Davidsson makes the convincing argument that the callers were coaxed into making these calls (from the ground somewhere) as part of the military exercises of the day to supposedly test and help optimize reactions against a potential terrorist attack on the United States. How many patriotic citizens would turn down such a benign request?
This book should be required reading in any contemporary U.S. history and political science studies class examining false flag events.
