About the Author

Diana Walker was a contract photographer for Time magazine for many years. She served as one of Time’s two White House photographers during the Reagan, Bush, and Clinton administrations. Walker has published two books of her photographs and has done many features over the years for People, Fortune, The New York Times Magazine, and The Village Voice. In 2012, Walker was honored with the Henry Luce Lifetime Achievement Award. Her photographs are displayed in the Smithsonian, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Minneapolis Museum of Art. She and her husband Mallory live in Washington, DC.

Nice Photographic Tribute to Hillary Clinton

This is a terrific photographic book of Hillary Clinton in many different settings. The vast majority are from the 1990s through her tenure as Secretary of State around 2011-2012. Most are black-and-white. The size of the photos ranges from half a page to 2-page spreads. There are a few photos, perhaps 10 percent, that show her from the back or side or with an obstruction and thus do not show her face clearly, but usually I can understand why those are included, because they appear to be intended to show the group of people she is with, or the setting she is in. This is very good quality photography. Also, the captions do a good job of dating the photos and telling what is going on in them. The book runs 212 pages. This is a very nice photographic tribute to Hillary Clinton.

Seriously? Don't waste your money, unless you want to see the back of hillary's head, her shoulders, her shoes, etc. Hillary in the dark. Hillary in big sunglasses and hats obscuring her looks. Long shots, two page spreads where you literally have to find her. A two page spread, her with Bill, her face completely covered by Bill's right arm. Oh, and here is another shot of Hillary\s back and head, and another, and another. Oh look, here is Hillary in shadow, again her back. If you think you will see close ups of Hillary, think again. Lots of 2 page spreads, medium to long shots that any amateur could have taken, and most likely with better results. I swear I was taking better pictures when I was 13 using a Graphlex 35, a 35mm camera back in the early sixties. Again, don't waste your money. I am glad I bought it used. Paid only one cent for it plus shipping through amazon. Even that was a waste of time and money. Now I can see why it only sold for a penny.
