Ugly Handles on an Otherwise Pretty Item

Cons: The handles on this cabinet are truly awful. They're a brass-colored metal covered by a wrap of pleather. It looks so cheap and strange. At first, I wasn't too concerned, because I figured I could replace them for a few dollars each ... times 17. But, the handles are really large (12 x 5.75" and 5 x 4.25"), which appear to be nonstandard sizes and really expensive. So, the deal for the cabinet itself is great, but then you have to add another $2-300 for hardware replacement.

The distressing on the unit is unnecessary. It probably helps cover up the mediocre construction, and it doesn't ruin the unit for me, but I would prefer it gone.

The delivery gets outsourced, so the coordination of the delivery was a little strange, and it was ultimately left on our doorstep in rain for us to lug the very heavy two boxes in the house.

Pros: The cabinet itself is great for the price. It's a little redder than the picture shows, but I don't mind it. It has a nice amount of storage.

Overall: If you have a good source for replacement hardware or don't mind what it came with, I'd recommend it.

This hutch and buffet took their time getting here. I do live in a remote location so I will give some grace there. The buffet arrived a couple days late with a damaged hutch. Buffet is lovely. Took another month to get a replacement hutch here and it was damaged as well. We decided to keep it since my husband is a fix it kinda guy and I am hoping to have it put together soon. Didn't think ordering another replacement would be the best choice. Over all, not sure I'd order something of this size again. If the packaging on the product was more than 2-ply corrugated card board it might have had a chance of getting here in one piece. Had it arrived on time and not damaged, I would give it a 5.

Cabinet is sturdy and well made

Would have been a five except delivery service had damaged on of the boxes. Made a slight ding but not where it could be seen. Cabinet is sturdy and well made. It was exactly what we wanted. Hardware for the doors could have been better but it we know how to replace those. The color is slightly different from the picture (more reddish brown) but we can live with that.

It looks great, solid wood and very well manufactured. This is the style we wanted. Lots of space to fill up with kitchen staff which I needed. It is worth of money I paid.You love it!!!!!
