Format: Hardcover
This well-illustrated 1986 book contains (for a book for younger readers) fairly detailed description of Hinduism, followed by descriptions (with many photographs) of various Hindu celebrations. There are separate chapters on "Folk Festivals" and "Family Festivals," as well as "Hindu Festivals Outside India."

There is also a "Hindu Calendar," a Glossary, and suggestions for "Further Reading."
