Despite his new life, Morgan almost dies twice. Kenny is there but little else. No inner dialogue so we suffer alongside him. Kenny's viewpoint isn't given so maybe that's it. He buries it all down with this stoic front, sitting by his mate or talking to Ava. There's none of that agony, heart clenching, shouting, gasping for breath, heart stopping, on his knees, moaning, and tears. Nope, none of that. He's the Pride's beta, known as their heart. Does Kenny even cry?
Now joy is felt as well as action, but the deeper emotions are lacking. It's all about events going by, unfolding, a quick scene, and moving on. I hope if we get to the bottom of Logan and Isiah's issues that they are explained with dual point of view. More than this unkept, unwashed, dirty hair, dark circles under his eyes, and oddly made coffee description. Logan is suffering and all that's written is the surface. I don't feel for him because he's not expressed his sorrow, not enough to care for. Not satisfying at all. Read on Kindle Unlimited. - Dan's Wife
But, when Morgan leaves and then returns leaving Kenny with more questions than answers, he is prepared to fight for his true mate, no matter the consequences.
Morgan was made to feel inferior his whole life. When he meets the Bliss Pride, it seems to good to be true.
He needs to cuts ties with past though before he can move forward, but the cost might just be too much for him and those that he loves and has come to love.
This riveting third book in the series must be read in order to get the full effect of the story.
I adored Kenny and how patient he was with Morgan and how accepting he was of Ava.
Morgan and his plight will pull at your heart strings and I’m so glad he got the love and family he deserved.
With the other teasers for the next book woven into this plot, I’m left eager more.
I was so anxious to read Morgan & Kenny's story. They have been dancing around each other forever. This book will bring them together at last. No longer alone, Morgan will be able to face his past, with Kenny by his side, surrounded by a highly unusual pack.
Yes, there is violence. There is sex. There is love. There is pack & family. Oh, and HEA for Kenny & Morgan. You will love this book! I can't wait for the next in the series.
This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
I received an arc and voluntarily left an honest review.
It was clear that Morgan was in a bad situation in the last book, and we get a clearer understanding of his past and what was holding him back from Kenny. Speaking of Kenny, he was such a great character! He’s so patient and kind, and I loved seeing how he interacted with Morgan and gained his trust.
Throwing Morgan’s niece, Ava, into the mix added to the stakes and it was great to see how close Morgan and Kenny got to her. This whole house/pride of shifters was amazing with her and the other children making their way into their lives. And I’m super excited to finally get Logan’s story and hear about his past!
If you enjoy stories of found family and people creating lasting bonds with one another, then I highly recommend this fun and exciting series!

I was really looking forward to Kenny and Morgan's story since we met them in book 1.
It was great. I really loved them together. They bring a side out of each other that was sweet to watch. I really loved how they grow as a couple. I really enjoyed the heat, love, trust between the two of men. Their relationship with Ava is so good to read and felt very organic.
The plot itself was interesting and fast paced. The 'villain' were different than the ones in the previous two books and made things interesting.
Overall a great story that I really enjoyed. I can't wait for Logan's story.
