Wow! I'm completely at a loss for words. My emotions were all over the place with this one. Happy, sad, angry, shocked, and lost. So many twists and turns in this book compared to the first book of the series and I love it! I totally did not expect this one to end the way it did.
Blurb: This book focuses mainly on the life of Ryan and the band's manager, Peri.
We learned that from the first book that he was in a serious relationship with Krissy for several months. Ryan is a love hard type of guy. Always faithful and never holds back. Krissy doesn't want him with the band anymore because she never gets to see him when he's on tour. They argue and fight about the tour and being away from home. Will they survive? Or will Krissy move on? Or does Ryan?
Also, we learn a whole lot about Peri. She started her job wanting to prove herself that she is strong and can do the job but she didn't expect to find love and other things. Who does she fall for? Will it last?
Pros: lots of mystery, shock factors, romance, hot sex scenes, great character build ups, we meet a new character (or 3 really by the end), and tons of drama
Cons: writing style between POVs and third person. Not my favorite type but manageable.
This one so far is my favorite! I'd still recommend this to any reader who is a fan of romance and rockers! Now off to read the 3rd book in the series. <3
This series has got me addicted to their trials but also the way they stand together to overcome them.
Loved this book!!!
Ryan's relationship starts out as truly horrible with Krissy when I arrives home after his tour. There is no support for his dream, she's crazy and to demanding. When he leaves to go on tour again things become abundantly clear that he is better off without her.
Things between Ryan and Peri, the bands manager, heat up while he's on tour and finally he has found a woman who is supportive and perfect for him. When they make it home Krissy drops the pregnancy bomb and everything seems to be drama in one form or another. Peri also has big news that could cause even more issues. Ryan has to decide where he needs to be and how to control the spiraling situation before any more people get hurt.
When I first started this book I hated Krissy right off the bat. I knew she would try something and honestly I have no idea how Ryan put up with her crap. As the story progressed I was slightly bored for the first half of it. There were some confusing moments, and a few things unthought were pointless to point out. But once I was about half way through the story really picked up. I started to really enjoy it and I felt like the drama and everything that happened kept me riveted to the pages.
The sex was hot and the way she described each scene made you really feel like you were there. And she honestly makes you wish Ryan was real. By the end of the story I really fell in love with all of the characters.
When Ryan loves he lives with all of him and he is a passionate guy who likes to make his girl feel like a Queen.. So in book 1 Ryan is with Krissy and while their relationship has some drama we don't get the full extent until book 2 and let's jus say Krissy crosses the line of crazy and she thinks he should give up his dream of being in the band eventually these 2 split ( and man was I glad because I was ready to choke this girl out) and instead Peri yup the beautiful woman who word for the Studio and she goes on tour with the band and things escalate from there while there is plenty of drama because it seems Krissy never quits .. We get to see Ryan and Peri relationship grow and trust me there is lots of growing...
I have enjoyed this series it is told from multiple pov which can be kind of confusing this was overall a good read
