Peaches is off men as her last boyfriend cheated on her. One of her fellow dancers has a side job working a party that she invites Peaches to. There she meets Santiago who had just seen a painting of her and wanted to meet the artist now he’s meeting both the artist and the model. Santiago goes all possessive caveman and pursues her because she is going to be his and only his. Lets just say the stalker, homicidal lover alarm bells went off with his actions. Of course he turns out to be a billionaire, if I had known this was one of those stores I would have avoided, it’s just an excuse for the guys to act like jerks and for women to forgive him because he’s a billionaire.
Peaches decides to give him a chance insert eye roll and she plays the I’m not going to sleep with him card for a small bit then the next page after saying she’s not gong to she’s getting naked and having sex.
There isn’t much to this story but if you have a half hour or so to kill and don’t want anything that requires any heavy mental lifting this isn’t an awful way to pass the time just don’t expect anything new other than the typical poor girl meets rich guy minor conflict then HEA.

We don't get much about Santiago, but for me, the way he tried to control Peaches & railroad her decisions annoyed me. He was a little too psychotic/stalker-ish for my tastes, almost like an abusive partner.
This book had a lot of stuff going on & the story felt hurried along. Had the characters been more fully developed and the plot not been so busy, it would have made a much better story.
Peaches was a real woman with struggles. She did not sit around waiting for a man to fix her world. She worked. She worked hard to get what she wanted. There just was not a lot about Santiago, but what was there was typical alpha male, me want, me get.
