About the Author
Ember Casey is a twenty-something writer who lives in Atlanta, Georgia in a den of iniquity (or so she likes to tell people). When she's not writing steamy romances, you can find her whipping up baked goods (usually of the chocolate variety), traveling (her bucket list is infinite), or generally causing trouble (because somebody has to do it).

The beginning of the story where Lily couldn't get anyone to answer the call bell from the front gate of Calder's estate didn't surprise me, considering he was mourning and didn't want to see anyone. It got a little extreme when Lily decided to "climb the fence" as it were to speak with him about the money his father had promised to her father's art gallery. It just seemed a little stalkerish.
Calder is an arrogant billionaire playboy. What else is there to say. Oh and he cut off the funds his father promised to Lily's father for their art center.
You don't know a lot about Lily's father except he runs the center and it's been his baby. All you know about Calder's father is he's rich, donated to everyone, and had died.
Lily's exboyfriend, newspaper reporter Garrett, makes an appearance after Lily calls him for help in getting people to donate to the center. He has anger management issues and thinks he's all that and then some.
The book has potential with a little finessing.
The outcome of the gallery comes to her at the last moment and saves the gallery, the X makes a move on her in the car park and she takes out an order to keep him away from her and Cunningham comes to apologise for his secret that lead her on, his father had made bad investments which left him broke but they decide to see each other and see how it works out.
If you like sex books, this is one for you.
