Comforting and Uplifting Story

What a delightful read!!! I could barely pull myself away from reading this at one sitting. This book has drama, action, adventure, romance and mystery. Eli was one of my favorite characters. Even though he was under the authority of Cam, he did not back down from bringing the potential sin to light and in a loving way. I also loved the church scene where Rae was really listening to the words of the songs. How many times have we sang hymns and never even thought of what we were saying? Additionally, this book opened my eyes to different verses and how easily they are applied to our current situations. The book lifted my spirit and spoke to my heart. God always forgives and gives another opportunity to live for him!!!

I loved this book, from the very first chapter it draws you in. It was like I was there, in front of the fireplace looking at the painting, wondering who it was, on the battlefields, present day and the past, the list goes on and on. It is wonderful to read books that I don’t have to worry about if I will have to “skip” over certain words that I don’t speak or want to read. Christian writing at it’s best! Once again S.J. Wells has proven she knows Christ, the scriptures that are quoted proves that! Wonderful job! Can’t wait to read your next book!

I couldn't put this book down!! I loved it from beginning to end. It was so wonderfully written, so full of God's mercy and grace.
The characters just came alive and I fell in love with them all. I felt like I was right there with them.
Believe me you will love it too!!
Clear your calendar when you get this book because you will want to finish when you start reading!!

His Yankee Wife is a great story from start to finish. I couldn't put the book down. There are so many great characters in this story. I love reading stories about faith and God's love and forgiveness to us. This book has it all!

Love this book! I really enjoyed how it combined the past and present; showing how God's love, grace and mercy can span the space of time and never changes. Also, that God's forgiveness is always there for you. Definitely a must have for your personal library!
