I have heard this album several times now and I'm loving it. At first I was a little put off, but I think that this ranks as one of his greatest achievements, really. I love Viva Hate, Your Arsenal, Vauxhall and this is definitely the caliber of these.
I think there are a few filler-type songs, but I Will See You in Far Off Places, The Father Who Must Be Killed, I Am Born, You Have Killed Me are real stunners. They're everything I want in a Morrissey song. I don't think this will "break" Morrissey in the U.S., which is sad. So may people like the Killers and Franz Ferdinand seem to make it big, but never our boy Moz.
