Good story, such an interesting point of view, in addition to some nice sub plots subtly woven into the main text. An excellent cast of contemporary young men at the start of their film careers, who all went on to nice careers on stage and film. I remember when it ran on Broadway - came over from the West End - and, those young handsome Brits were tearing up NYC! Oy!
This play/albeit film also features a marvelous performance from the late, great Richard Griffiths (RIP) alongside nice turns from Penelope Wilton and Frances de la Tour.
You will understand this current "revisionist history" approach to past events after viewing this film - a very thoughtful point of view.
Thinking person's film yet thoroughly entertaining.
