This book is a wonderful book for those interested in where history, magic and spirituality intersect. I’ve just started reading it but I’m impressed by the beauty of the book and the breadth of topics that it covers. I’m hoping that after I read it I have a better understanding of the origins of witchcraft and why our ancestors feared it with such great superstition. I’m just trying to make sense of the world I live in and the forces that have shaped it throughout time I’m very pleased with this purchase

I just finished reading this and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a great summary of the entire history of magic and the occult (and other religions) and was immensely informative. It's a quality book with very nice pictures that covered a lot of topics. It gives you a good overview without going into too much detail that would make it boring or harder to read, like a lot of these history book are. It's the pictures though that made this book. I felt like I was back in school studying to be an archeologist or historian - it is like a textbook in many ways. It's great to see visuals of everything that are describing and really added to the enjoyment of reading this.

All the books I am getting the pages are wavy, why?

I just ordered a bunch of different books from different people. and they are all weather damaged. The pages (both hard back and paperback) are wavy, which happens when the books are in a moist area too long.

And two where left o u t s i d e in the rain, the d r i v e r never told me they where there. And the books where only protracted by a thin paper.

But I do not recall which two books it was.

But all the books the pages are wavy.

The paper the books are made out of are cheap ad will not last long, if they are already deformed - all the books should be new.

I have not yet read any of the books as I have heavy books sitting on top of them all trying to flatten the books
