Lee, man, that guy drew me in like a moth to a flame. I wanted him to be happy and when his heart broke my heart broke with him. I wanted both of them to get their HEA.
I don't want to get too much into detail but the blurb does tell you a lot but I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised and now I want to read Trust me. Great job reeling me in Ms. Adams and keeping me hooked til the end.
****I received a free copy in exchange for my honest review****
No spoilers here. I adore Mafia romances and this one was really down and dirty. I was exasperated at the Bulgarians, Russians, Engish, you name it.. Everybody but Italians!! And they all acted like idiots!!
Along comes Imelda and our hero loses HIS mind.
I understood that. She was a dreamboat/ Marilyn Monroe with gorgeous dark hair and luscious lips. She wore high heels and flowing skirts cut to way up there. And he wanted her. She supposedly belonged to the biggest, baddest boss around; Hristo Markov. Bad news.
Lee Bailey may have been the toughest MMA fighter in England, of the Baileys, but he met his match with Imelda. What she wants with him: you gotta read to find out!! Hoo hoo!! I cried so hard!!
Such love!! Enough with the hints.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy from the Author, PJ Adams, in exchange for an honest, experienced review of which I have given.
The characters were raw and very realistic. The pain and suffering they had experienced brought them to a very finite point and each deserved a little bit of a break. The attraction and selflessness they felt toward each other was a beautiful thing to behold amidst all the darkness and despair. They needed to try to find a way through all the hateful abusiveness and decay that drugs, greed, and corruption causes. Hristo didn't really want her, but didn't want anyone else to have her either. She was a possession, a piece of property, no voice, no feelings, just arm candy.
I must say, PJ Adams does it like no other!! Take a Ruskie here, a Englishman there, a coked up God knows who thrown into the mix and bedlam occurs. I just kick back and know that Ms Adams has a perfect plan. And she did it again--with this gem!!
Fabulous job, PJ!!

Second book in the Bailey Boys series and this time it's Lee's turn to bite the dust.
By now we have fallen for these boys, we got to meet them in the first book, and we couldn't get enough of them. Lee was one of my favourite, the tough guy on the outside and the joker and sweet boy on the inside, but let's not be fooled by all that, he is still a Bailey so violence and death seemed to keep following him wherever he is.
First, I have to say the guy in the cover doesn't look anything like my Lee, so I'm keeping my version of him... **** Tom Hardy****....
Moving on, the boys have changed location since the last book and are now established in a new place that has very different rules, and Lee's choice of getting back in the game could forever change his life or end it.
Imelda was an enigmatic character, she always took what she wanted from people, that's how she survived, she used them and run. But this time things were different, she got attached, and the game changed, she wasn't sure she would be able to run and leave him behind.
People do desperate things in desperate times and that's how her life was, simply hanging by a thread, she had to get away or forever be trapped there.
Lee didn't get attached, but things were different with her and he realised he would do anything for her, even if he broke his heart in the process.
A thrilling story, with a lot of violent scenes and some crazy sexy moments between the characters make this story a big success.
Love is a really strange animal, and when paired with crazy passion and some fierce attraction it can unleash hell.
Lee was this guy that just screamed sexy bad boy. He was use to being in the action and now that him and his brothers were forced out I can imagine how hard this was for him. It had to be hard to crave that rush and not have it.
Imelda was one that was use to playing men to get what she wanted. Now here she is finding herself in a situation were her ex does not want to let her go. The problem his ex could make her disappear in a blink of an eye if he wanted to.
Lee is one that will do what ever it takes to protect his family, even if that means working for someone like Hristro Markov. Things are not like they use to be in London. They move a lot faster and the rules are different. Does Lee have what it takes to make it in the game now?
Things will get hot and heavy between Imelda and Lee. This is very dangerous. Lee will what to do what ever it takes to help her get away. the question is can Lee let Imelda walk away without never seeing her again?
A great story and glad I got a chance to read the book.
