Hey Amazon Peeps!!! Just wanted to clear some things up here on this product, so take the time and read it so you dont mess up like I did!!! Now let me clear up as to why I gave it 3 stars. I have a 2004 Ford F350 pickup. I purchased these guys to help me wire in some cool little mini led accent lights to shine all purty on my floor board. This couldn't have been a better idea to use to on a circuit that is hot when the truck is running or in the run position. So lets move on......I know that my truck uses MINI Fuses, this is a given. Now this is part my mistake and I take the blame for HALF but the other half I blame on the labeling of this products pictures online. Being my truck uses Mini Fuses, my instinct is to order the Vehicle Circuit Blade that says "Mini" as it is labeled in their SECOND picture, BOTTOM Selection. I thought heck I have MINI's it says MINI's...that's what I need...so I ordered 2x of them :-) When they arrived today I opened them and checked them out. Well HECK, Looks like someone messed up...was it me or them? Well to make a LONG story short, it did NOT work for my truck.....The device did NOT sit in the fuse box as you can see from my pics the legs weren't long enough to reach where it needs sit causing it to bottom out. So frustrated I pulled a fuse out of my truck and went to comparing. I have attached MANY photos for yall to view showing the issues I speak of (i hope they help). I am posting all this info to keep you from doing what I did.....yes I shouldnt assume...but I did because the wording seemed to match well....order like item that my truck has and move on with my evening.
Well after looking it over (again why I take 50% of this blame) I see on the SECOND picture they posted which I looked at and decided I have Mini's they have a Mini's selection...but what I DIDNT NOTICE OR PAY ATTENTION TO WAS at the TOP of the picture it states:
Mini: Some Korean Car
Small: Japan/US Car (This is what I SHOULD have chose!!!!)
Medium: European Car
The First Picture I posted is of a box of Mini Fuses I have and the fuse on the left is the aftermarket fuses I had..the fuse on the right is the one that was in my fuse box in my truck. Above the fuses is packaging of the Hit Car Circuit Blade product I ordered (the back of the package with the label). It also says Mini like the box of Mini fuses I have for my truck, thus why I ordered it.
Second Picture you can see where the legs of the Hit Car Circuit Blade legs were NOT long enough to reach the fuse box female inserts. They were so short that it bottomed out the casing (where the fuses go on the product) before it could reach the female holes to sit in.
Third & Forth Pictures was just me showing you no matter which way I turned it, the darn thing just would not sit where it needed to.
Fifth & Sixth Pictures are just showing you what the mini fuses (blue one came out of my truck the yellow one came with the product) compared with each other.
Seventh Picture is my fuse box in my truck, you can see the raised guides (I guess thats what you might call them) and how far they stick up thus why you need the legs on the Hit Car Circuit Blade to be LONGER.
Eight & Ninth Pictures is just showing you the original fuse that came out of my truck compared to the after market minis I bought, while the After Market LOOKS to be a tiny bit longer, they actually function just the same and SIT in the fuse box JUST THE SAME as the original does.
Tenth, Eleventh & Twelfth Pictures is just comparing my original mini fuse to the Hit Car Circuit product. Take a look you can also see the middle of the Hit Car Circuit Product has really thick center plastic part that is not needed in US CARS thus making the legs some what shorter so to speak.
Sooooooo Amazoners.....I did make ANOTHER ORDER for the SMALL (the choice above the Mini) Hit Car Circuit Blade and I will update you when I get them on Friday and see if they work. I took the time and effort to let you guys know to be sure to READ everything really well because while it might seem right to order the Mini Hit Car Circuit Blade because my truck uses Mini Fuses...THIS WAS NOT THE CASE! I think all this seller needs to do is NEXT TO EACH BUBBLE put the description they put at the TOP of the picture and this will help make things easier for US as customers on choosing the CORRECT PRODUCT.
Example on the second picture where it has the blacked out circle and says MINI in white...next to it put "Some Korean Car"
Blacked out Circle and says SMALL in white....next to it put "Japan/US Car"
Blacked out Circle and Says MEDIUM in white...next to it put "European Car"
This might help us Eager Beavers like myself :-)
So Guys, Im guessing if you are here in the US and you got a US car you choice will be the SMALL choice........
I sure hope this review helps yall chose the right product for your needs.........again I will update yall on friday on the Small units and let you know if it fits and works as it should.
I guess I will just EAT the cost of the 2x MINI Hit Car Circuit Blade's I ordered as I feel half to blame for ordering this without reading and looking at the pictures they posted. I just assumed order what my vehicle took as to that is what made sense to me in the sizing aspect.
Talk to yall soon!!!
You tell me what I need to change and I will...I dont want to lose all the time I have invested about this product to help other Amazon Customers!!!
