An ideal tool for trim carpenters, framers, and woodworkers who demand precision and reliability, the C10FSB offers professional-grade performance with its dual-bevel cutting action, soft start function, electric brake feature, electronic speed control, and more.

The C10FSB Sliding Dual Compound Miter Saw features a powerful 12-amp motor that generates a no-load speed of up to 3,800 RPM for easily making crosscuts and miters in even the toughest workpieces. The electronic speed control ensures consistent RPM throughout the cut, so you get smooth, precise, controlled cuts each and every time.
Additionally, the C10FSB utilizes a Poly-V-Belt transmission rather than a traditional gear transmission. This soft start technology allows the saw to operate smoothly and quietly and reduces recoils during startup.
Compound Feature for Precise Miters and Bevels
Hitachi designed the C10FSB for versatile, easy use. The thumb-actuated positive miter stops allow for simple miter adjustments at the most common angles: 15.0, 22.5, 31.6, and 45.0 degrees to the right or left. The tool also features a 57-degree miter angle to the right and a 45-degree miter angle to the left for maximum flexibility. Additionally, a white-on-black miter scale provides superior visibility, allowing you to easily adjust the angle of the cutting blade for creating miters in crown molding and other trim pieces.
And with a bevel range of 45 degrees to the left and right, you can quickly and easily flip the saw blade while leaving your material in place. To save you even more time, bevel stops to the right and left are conveniently located at zero and 45 degrees.
The 10-inch TCT saw blade (included) makes easy work of trim and other woodwork, and the linear ball-bearing slide system and adjustable pivot fence allow for accurate cutting of large workpieces over 12 inches deep.
Chock-Full of User-Friendly Features
The C10FSB contains plenty of features to help you make the perfect cut the first time. To start, a splinter guard behind the fence increases safety and reduces tear-out for clean, finished cuts. For further refinement, a large table provides a stable guide and sturdy support, a built-in clamping system holds your workpiece in place, and an electric brake feature quickly halts the blade to prevent unintended cuts.
The C10FSB also includes a dust collector that minimizes accumulation of dust and particles in your both your workspace and the saw's interior components, keeping your jobsite clean and prolonging the life of the tool. An added bonus, easily accessible carbon brushes will help your saw perform for the long term.
Durably built, this tool is backed with an industry-leading five-year warranty. It is compatible with Hitachi's UU610 Universal Work Station.

Top customer reviews
I settled on the Hitachi C10FSB because of the reviews I have read and my personal experience with Hitachi Customer Service Call Center for a Hitachi Compressor I have owned for nine years.
I am 100% satisfied. Specificly the out of the box quality, uncomplicated manual and most of all the accuracy. The sliding tubes are smooth and have NO sloppy play. The adjustments are accessable and ledgable from the front of the saw which makes it practical for mounting to a permanent location. The dust bag and additional special attention designed into the saw guard surprisingly captures most of the dust generated. However I was able to insert 1 1/2" PVC pipe in place of the supplied bag and a couple of 15 degree elbows and connect the Vacuume hose to it. No need to build a custom dust boot or a new configuration to the dust collector. Blade access is designed well without the need of a third hand to hold the guard out of the way while you are changing the blade. One wrench included fits most of the adjustment hardware including the blade. Minor detail but should mention the safety switch position takes some getting used to but it does keep you aware that you are about to start the saw.
Last comment, it is not a heavy brute to pickup and carry. Well balanced and configured. I plan on bragging about and keeping this saw for a LONG time.
My only gripe might be the handle. I am left handed and it can be difficult to hold in the start button and depress the trigger at the same time. A horizontal instead of a vertical handle would be prefferable too. A small inconvenience for a great tool.
I replaced this after trying a cheap model from Lowes. I will never go back as the cuts are so much easier and better that you will save money in wood and time by going with Hitachi.
This machine is built very well. I would buy it again, but hopefully this one will be with me fo a while.
Don't bother with the laser model. You don't need it.
I was not impressed with was Hitachi's packaging. Upon reciept I could see about 1" of the back of the slider protruding from a small hole in side of the box. Upon opening I found the saw had shifted from its cardboard cutout restraints, allowing the slider to poke out of the box. The bevel was not locked or restrained and was free to flip-flop during shipping. Luckily everything checks out okay.
I cannot comment on how competitors package their saws, but as noted in other reviews it is clear that Hitachi does not package their saws for individual home delivery. This is the only thing keeping the C10FSB from getting 5 stars.
