Tip: If you are a homeowner and don't already have it, buy a nail gun hanger to protect your investment.
It has taken a lot of abuse but keep in mind no sane person would drop this from rafters and think it will be unscathed. It works good and for small jobs and light use it is fine. I do not regret this buy. Nails are quite easy to find at the big box stores too. This one model shoots out round head nails not the clipped head ones. If that is a problem or something you need to know remember it is round heads.
Just bought the NR90ADPR. I really like it; a bit smaller and maybe better balanced than the PC. What's amazing is almost no recoil, and makes almost no more noise than a roofing nailer, hard to believe that little pop is driving a 16. The Porter Cable seems more powerful(?) - noise/recoil, but this gun homes a 3.25" nail just fine. Love the depth set of course. If it still works in 3 years it gets 5 stars. I like the pointed nose piece more than the round one on the PC, easier to toenail. No rubber bumper tip for flush nailing/finish, but how would it fit on the pointed nose? I also like that it does not have a quick detach magazine to clear jambs like Senco & PC After a few years the magazine can slip down (carrying/holding by magazine) and misfires. So you need a wrench to pull the magazine but it doesn't slip - . For $182 I'm one happy camper.
Exactly what I needed . I used just over 1000 3 1/2in. Framing nails 2200 2 3/8in. Coated framers. I kept it fairly clean and lightly lubed with proper lubricants . I had no problems of any type. The light weight and excellent functioning made it perfect for my
Usage and I would highly recommend to anyone that needs to work in overhead or verticle positions. It still looks like new and is ready for the next project.

The weight of this gun is awesome, I was borrowing a buddies bostich and it was much heavier. Pro Tip : get yourself a lightweight air hose, like PUR-Hose PUR-38X100 3/8-Inch X 100 Foot Polyurethane 250 PSI Air Hose. When you are up in the air, it's not just the weight of the gun you are holding, it's the air hose also...
After I framed the walls, I brought in a professional crew to set the trusses. They had no problem using my gun... I don't think anyone would have complained, they just wouldn't use it if they didn't like it.
All in all, I've probably sent 30,000 nails through the unit and it works good as new. I did end up with one box of nails that would always jam when there was 3 or 4 nails on the strip and I was getting a little fed up with the gun, until I realized it was the nails giving me problems not the gun.
Always wear safety glasses with this gun. Because of the plastic material that holds the nails in a strip with full head nails, the plastic gets ejected in random directions. Most of the time it's not at you, but I have been hit in the face, when on a ladder or something and was at face level with the gun.
