“I'm literally in love with HITCHED The irreverent humor, fun storyline and intriguing characters enchanted me immediately and I was hooked. I mean really, when a book has a chapter with only the two words being "Game on" (right after the chapter where Noah pulls his big boy parts out in a swanky bar) you know this is going to be a fun and funny read! And Ms. Ryan didn't disappoint...she kept me cracking up the entire read! I'm salivating for the next installment!”

From the Author
"A trial period?" he asks.
"You could describe it like that. I think that getting to know each other better will help the company's public image. We need to make our relationship believable; it'll look strange if nobody ever sees us together before we marry."
It's also a chance to dip my toes in before diving straight into the deep end. An attempt to inject a little normality into a deeply abnormal situation.
But I don't say that part out loud. I don't want to admit right now that marriage still scares me a little. Not with Noah blinking curiously at me, and Prescott looking frustrated at the prospect of even further delays.
Noah finally speaks up. "So, essentially, you're asking me to date you."
I nod at him. "Yep, that's the idea. At least take me out for a drink before I consider taking your name." I look straight at him, waiting to see his reaction before I hit him with my next clause. "Oh, and another thing. Refrain from having sex . . . with anyone."

The book would've been middling (the plot and characters are a bit juvenile for my tastes) if it was a full book. I'm still annoyed at the ending though
Noah has no problem marrying Olivia. They've been friends for years, and even though he has slept with half of Manhattan, Olivia is a conquest he relishes the chance to have.
Olivia, who crushed on Noah as a teen, now wants nothing to do with him, but unfortunately, you aren't told why. You need to guess as to her despise of him. But, Olivia wants what's best for her father's company, the one she was raised to take over as an adult, so she bites the bullet and agrees to slowly take steps to be wooed by Noah. Step one, includes kissing, but nothing past first base. Step two includes moving in together. Step three is marriage.
This is an easy book to read, and a shorter story at that, since it ends on a cliffhanger and you are then supposed to follow the story in the second part.
While I liked this story a lot, the heat factor was forced. Noah clearly likes Olivia, and she starts thawing her icy heart toward him, but it seemed forced. You are never sure why Olivia is so against Noah as her future spouse. You aren't sure if it's because her one and only ex played with her head so bad, and his return wreaks havoc all over again, or if something happened between Noah and Olivia as teens that either Noah thinks that it was nothing, or doesn't realize that he did anything wrong. I'm hoping that some of these unanswered questions are answered in the next book, but only time will tell.
Noah and olivia, the H/h must be married in order to inherit their fathers' company. They have known each other all their lives and are not strangers. Noah is okay with what has to be done but Olivia is truly an immature judgemental b##ch. It was difficult to find any redeeming qualities in her personality.
I found the story boring. And then it ended with a cliffy???
Won't be reading the next edition. The author just didn't make be care a whit about these characters. Neither they or their actions ever came to life.
