I only like Blood Money (the other two are boring as heck). I love Blood Money. Played it from Rookie to Pro. Never get bored. Can turn the people on the Steam Boat into Zombies easily. Disguise Agent 47 as a clown or pool man to lure drunk wife. Agent 47 crashes a Redneck wedding; have him plot an accidental shooting & bomb two human traffickers.

I've always been picky about console games and the Hitman franchise is one of the only series that has kept my love and attention. Unfortunately, the only game in the series that is made for PS3 is Absolution, which I thought was the weakest game in the franchise. Sure the graphics were great, but the story's characters were laughably bad and the gameplay felt less intelligent. I wound up blasting my way through almost every mission.

That being said, I was thrilled to see that my favorite three were redone for PS3! So much goodness :)

I love the series since the PS2 days and I think the HD upgrade is worth the $20 I spent. The graphics were not overhauled, the game mechanics for each individual game plays exactly as it did when it first came out. There is nothing new or surprising about this HD update except that...an HD update. As long as you know full well what you are getting with this game. You cannot go wrong. Buy this game.

I owned Hitman 2: Silent Assassin on the original Xbox and it was a great game, if you played it you would find a sadistic adventure with all the thrills and chills you could want for fifty bucks, another thing you would find is a nest of cheats, some really useful ones for your health and ammo and the weapons you are using and the level you want to play and so forth; all sitting right there for you. This is what I was expecting when I ordered this trilogy, not only that but two more just like it, I could not have imagined that there was someone dumb enough to go back through the original titles and rip out all of the cheats only to replace it with a new trophy and achievements system let alone a group of people who would, tell me, why not have both, why not have it so that when cheats are used the trophy/achievement is not given in that instance, the answer is of course because it costs less money to have someone disable them with a few lines of code and then plop down the trophy system, the point is ladies and gentlemen that the originals let you play as you please, if you choose to spend 50-100 hours to get everything legitimately then more power to you, if not or if you don't have the time to then also fine, this is like this so someone or someones could impress someone or someones by spending as little money as is humanly possible to do something and they should get shitcanned.

I returned my copy and I recommend you opt for the originals as well.

It's nice to play these again, remastered and on one disc. The graphics do look better than the PS2 and original X-Box, but don't expect anything unreasonable from games that are a decade or more old. All three Hitman games were a blast from the past and new trophies were a nice touch.

アブソリューションからヒットマンのゲームに入りましたが、昔からのファンがアブソリューションを異色作という理由が分かりました。
過去作の方が暗殺が遥かに多い、模索しながらのゲーム進行、潜入・暗殺・脱出がきれいにまとまっているなど
そして音楽は過去作の方が圧倒的にかっこいいです。起動後のタイトルセレクトの音楽は痺れる位かっこいい。
遊んで感じたのは、ヒットマンはステルスゲームだけど普通のかくれんぼではなく「ウォーリーを探せ」のようなその場所にいるけど分からないかくれんぼ、姿を見せながら認識されないかくれんぼのようなゲームだと思います。
これらの点をアブソリューションはうまく継承は出来ていないと思われます。
しかしアブソリューションから始めた身としては、どちらもステルスゲーム、ヒットマンのゲームとしてはよく出来ていますし手元に置いておきたい作品です。
英語は難しかったです。
