About the Author
BOBBY MARTIN has cofounded two successful startups, one of which, First Research, a leader in sales intelligence, was sold to Dun & Bradstreet. He’s deeply involved with five other startups as an angel investor and advisor. Martin is chairman and cofounder of Vertical IQ, a leading provider of sales research insight for banks. He speaks frequently about entrepreneurship at universities around the U.S. and at corporate events. In 2006, he was the recipient of the Triangle Business Journal's "40 Under 40" Award in Raleigh.

Reading this book as a first-time entrepreneur, Bobby was able to constructively shatter so many of the false preconceived notions my team and I had regarding ideation, product development and growth. His writing is extremely clear and concise and obviously comes from his immense passion and experience starting his own companies.
The 92 "Hockey Stick Principles" provide easy to remember, easy to access, easy to share and, most importantly, easy to execute guidelines for any startup founder! In fact, that is one of my favorite aspects of his book: the information is actually actionable!
Kudos to author on doing his homework, learning from experience and writing an extremely helpful book sure to be prized by any aspiring entrepreneur!
