Sarah also gets hit with a reality check when it comes to her family. She starts to question if she's been there enough for her kids. Has she helped them deal with their grief? Is she missing something with the kids? Is she handling these situations correctly? Is she being too controlling? Questions many parents ask themselves all the time, but now that Sarah is mom and dad to Jack & Rachel she worries even more. It's understandable given all the responsibility she now has that she use to be able to share with Paul. Then she has the added guilt that because she's dating again that she isn't there enough for her kids. Sarah has a hard time turning things over to God because she has become a control freak, especially since so much that has happened in 18 months has been out of control. It's understandable, but not what God wants us to do.
This book is a great continuation from the first book in the series. This series absolutely must be read in order, otherwise you will miss important things that the next book will build on since this series is following Sarah from when she found out about Paul's death & worked through the majority of her grief to start living again a year later. Readers will miss big pieces of the puzzle if books are skipped or read out of order.
happens, you never loose hope. Hope in Christ that keeps you going during those good and bad days. I love how the Kristen really brings that to life through out the whole story. I recommend you read book one before this one but either way a GREAT read. I could hardly put it down!! I'm anxious for Book 3!!
I was given this book by the Author for my honest opinion.
