A+ to Jazmine Sullivan,Missy Elliot, Mary J. and all of the writers/producers of this song. I think they did a wonderful job, and this is one of those songs that has definitely put Jazmine on the R&B map.

There is no question that Jazmine Sullivan really cam out of nowhere when she had her first album Fearless, and brought out a really strong intimacy in her songs like Lions, Tigers & Bears and Bust Your Windows. But her latest single, really shows she is trying to tackle a bit more of a Hip Hop edge with Holding You Down (Goin' In Circles) which at the beginning sampled Mary J. Blige's Reminisce. Sadly, I really didn't feel the distinctive rhythm from what her voice had brought out on Fearless a few years ago. It honestly isn't the best in her that her other songs had drove out to be. Hopefully, when Jazmine's sophmore album comes up soon, she'll hit a better nail on the head than what she showed right out of the box from Holding You Down (Going In Circles.)

I like Jazmine's voice no matter what she sings. I think she should write her on music because I liked her songs way better before she got the major record deal. For example, "Loving you" love love that song. Love Jazmine anyway!!!!!~
