So this is the first book I've read by this author but I will definitely keep her on my TBR list from now on!
I also loved the cover for this book. It gets your attention cause it's not like your normal romance cover with some hot guy. It immediately intrigued me, and made me think this looked like a fun book to read before I even opened the pages.
Then, after I open the pages, I'm already laughing within minutes and I can tell I'm gonna enjoy the hell out of this one. And the laughter continued throughout the whole book. I didn't wanna stop reading it to go to bed!
I loved Jenna and her word vomit. It made for some seriously funny reading and her friend Linda was right there with her. Those two together were hilarious. I especially liked Linda and her angry va jay jay box. That part was so funny I couldn't stop laughing. Then, the part with Jenna and her trash bag diaper! I'm telling you, the laughs never stop throughout this whole book.
The chemistry between Jenna and Jacoby was hot to read when they got together and you continually wanted more. It wasn't just about the sex though, they also had this fun and playful banter between them when they got together and you couldn't get enough. They were so perfect for each other. I loved reading their story!
I also loved the way Susan Renee wrote this book, in that it all seemed like real conversations and situations that you would have with your friends. I found it very relatable, and it made me love the book that much more.
Let me just say you NEED to read this book! Especially if you're looking for a fun romance. Maybe you just need a good laugh. We all need one every now and then, and this book delivers. It was the perfect mix of romance and comedy.
I liked that both Jenna and Jacoby had their "secret" lives, but were open and willing to share them with each other.
If you're in the mood for a light-hearted, funny and sweet, and a little bit sexy, read Hole Punched might just be what you're looking for.
Oh, but it was romantic... in an irreverent, "real" way--at least that how things are at our house. We're goofy nerd-types. My hubby is a lot more like the Jacoby in this book than like the alpha-males in most of the romance books out there.

We all need best friends, we all need jobs, we all need our passions. A fun read when all of these come together.
