About the Author
L'vette Sonai is a novelist and poet. She hails from a family of entertainers including musicians, songwriters, dancers, actors and visual artists. A former fashion model, L'vette's first creative love has always been the literary arts. Her favorite writers are F. Scott Fitzgerald and poetess Maya Angelou. Raised in Milwaukee, WI, she attended John Marshall High alongside acclaimed Men of Honor and Soul Food director, George Tillman, Jr. and former Deputy Chief of Staff for the Obama White House, Mona Sutphen. Sonai's breakout novel, THE MULHOLLAND DIARIES, has received rave reviews from around the world and has been described as a modern day Valley of the Dolls. Book two of the series, THE HOLLYWOOD GIRL, is available now. A book of poems and short stories are soon to be released. "If truth is better than fiction, then you're going to love my stories." L'vette Sonai lives in Nashville with her husband.
