My kitchen color pallet is red, so I only looked for a red coffee pot. This does seem a bit flimsy and light. But after using it, it's just fine. In fact, it makes my coffee hotter & faster than my old 5-cup Kenmore machine, in just under 5 minutes.
I am used to having to turn off the burner after brewing. The only problem is that the light is not on the front, but on the side, as is the water measurement panel. I think some people put it sideways. I just use the coffee pot to measure the right amount of water & don't need to look at the panel.
This machine is fairly long in depth, but narrow. I like that it allows me to put something next to it.
I give it a "five" because it's a great little machine for the price, and is in my color.
