In the attached photo you can see in that at the end of Job 1:5, they have accidentally added the header to the end of the scripture. "Satan Asks to Test Job" should be bold and in between verse 5 and 6. Instead the header is in regular font and placed at the end of the verse. Some may not think it a big deal, but for me this is a problem.
I am disappointed in this error and hopeful that I do not find other mistakes from the publisher. Even though this bible is really nice and is exactly what I was looking for, the text is the most important feature of any bible and so I am considering returning it.
**Update: I spoke with the publisher and they are aware of this error, but continue to sell the bible. They said they have no plans on correcting it until their supply of this faulty print runs out. They say it could be four to six months. I asked if they were aware of any other printing mistakes and they said no.
This is a decent bible for the price. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the 2 typographical errors that I've found (so far).
First, the pros:
Letters are easy to read and print is uniform. The cover is surprisingly nice for being imitation leather. Has a handy verse finder and bible in a year plan in the back. Pages are nice and the thumb index is easy to use.
Header error in Job 1:5 as described in another review.
Another header error in Luke 20 as pictured.
Another header error in 2 Chronicles 9:29 as pictured.
Header error in Song of Solomon 1:9 as pictured.
Missing a capital T in Obadiah 1:1.
There are quite a few typos in this bible. I'm starting to wonder if the publisher did any proof reading. Worst of all, several of the paragraph headers convey certain editorial bias that are unbiblical. These tend to sway the readers opionion before they read the passage so I skip them altogether. Changed my review from 4 stars to 1 star. I can no longer recommend this bible.
