I find that reading and understanding what is saying is great but I would like to go to specific books and verse
Holy Bible (NIV )
Navigating around the Zondervan version was accomplished by using the Table of Contents to jump to the various scriptures. This hasn't been a problem until Kindle installed their new software update 5.0.1. I stumbled across the glitch while in church this morning.
To access a scripture verse, the routine has been to touch the top of the screen, then press the Go To button, and finally the Table of Contents selection. That would bring up a choice of Old Testament and New Testament, with the appropriate books in their respective orders. Now, the Table of Contents alternately appears and disappears, and unless you know what page number to go to, you're stuck!
I DID find a work-around though. When the TOC disappears, choose "Front Matter". That will display the 1st page of the book. Press the top of the screen again, then select Go To (-again) and the TOC will display.
-an awkward work-around, but one that will return functionality to your Zondervan Bible.
