Climate Pledge Friendly
I normally have a full teaspoon of brown sugar at the bottom of my 10oz glass espresso mug when making cappuccino, but I suspected this syrup would be sweet in taste, so I reduced it to 1/2 teaspoon, added 1 capful of the syrup, stirred, made the espresso, lightly stirred again so as to not cause too much disturbance to the espresso crema, and then frothed the milk. The end result was EXCELLENT! Too many of these syrups are TOO sweet and overpower the taste of the espresso or cappuccino; not the case with this stuff, so long as I reduced the amount of sugar in the mug to start with. Adds a nice rich and smooth yet light taste without overpowering the richness of the fresh ground espresso beans that I use.
