The predator is super fast and zippy! It is a small, sleek, and durable drone. It is a really basic drone, great for flying. If your looking for somthing affordable to just zip around with, this is it! Very well built, and protected.
The company, Holy Stone, sets the standard in customer service. You can not go wrong here. I own 4 drones, 3 of them are from Holy stone, I've flown many other company's drones aswell. I can say with confidence, if you buy from this company you will be pleased.
I fly aggressively, and this little thing is made to withstand abuse. It is great for beginner pilots with its 3 control modes. Mode 1 is nice, smooth, and easy to control. Step it up to mode 3 and your screaming through the sky! It is remarkable how far technology has come, when you can buy such a small thing at such a low price and have such a responsive, easy to fly little thing...

This little guy is great! Delivery was super fast and the packaging was perfect. When u open the box everything is there and already put together. There are some extra parts included, buy that only bummer is that the batteries for the remote were not included. And u need 6 of them! The cords from the battery to the drone are on the back of the drone and when you connect them to turn the drone on make sure you pull them back down a little bit, otherwise they get caught in the propellers when u start to fly.
I was surprised how little he was when I took it out of the box. It's maybe 6 inches across. It can sit in the palm of my hand. Even tho it's so small the flight time is still only 6 minutes with a full battery. There's no camera on him, so no pictures or videos, but it can do flips!
It flies very well and is super responsive. It has lights so i can see it at night and it has headless mode and one key return. Pretty cool for this tiny drone. The only thing I don't like about it is that it does not have altitude control. So when you're flying you have to keep adjusting it up and down to keep it at the altitude you want. So it kinda looks like it's bouncing in the air. Definately hard to get it to hover in one place, or to stay at one height when your flying. It's a little frustrating. But other than that it's great! And it does have 3 different speeds so u can get comfortable flying.
The remote is easy to use and easy to pair with the drone. The users manual tells u what all the buttons do, but they aren't written next to the buttons like the other drone remotes.
Overall this drone is great. I prefer the ones with altitude control and cameras, but for a little drone to learn on this is perfect!

Absolutely excellent drone from beginner to expert. I generally fly larger quads but I find myself more and more is going to this guy to fly because it is so much fun! you can set it to fly at a very slow pace or you can move it up to ungodly fast! one really nice thing about the Quad is that it respond immediately to your every movement of the stick. I generally get about 10 to 15 minutes for battery charge and has actually learned to do tricks it's not supposed to do. the sky is the limit with this Quad. do not recommend flying indoors at high speed with this Quad because it is so fast! it comes very nicely packaged with all the spare parts you'll ever need and the customer service at Holystone is absolutely phenomenal. I own about every one of their quads and if there's ever a problem they take care of it immediately. I cannot recommend this company enough, they are second to none!

Simple drone that is easy to fly. Has good speed on highest mode. The only problem I have had so far is the blades. One was bent when I had gotten it. So I had to put a new one on before even flying it. The blade also will pop off if you land too hard. Once the blades come off they are done and won't stay on as well. I'm just glad I bought the extra pack with the drone because I've already used the extra ones they gave me and some from the pack I purchased. If you don't crash it or land it softly the blades shouldn't give you any issues.

I am bumping my original rating up 1 star for the excellent customer service provided by Holy Stone. They are very accommodating and want to make sure you have a good experience. They had sent me 20 new blades and I still had a few issues so they sent me a new drone. This is a great beginner drone with its 3 speeds allowing you to become more comfortable before increasing how fast you fly. It doesn't have a built in hover but you can move the stick up just enough to make it hover. We have bought a lot of different small drones at my job and this is one of the top rated ones, in my opinion. Wind will push this drone around though so keep that in mind when flying. Overall, for the price point this is where you should start. I also have been flying drones since I got my DJI Phantom 3. If you want a starter drone or one just to have fun with this is it. If you want a professional drone or one with more features go with DJI but it will cost a lot more.

I'm rarely moved to write reviews (too hard to discern the fluff these days), but this little drone made such an impact that I felt a review was a must!
Firstly, when I purchased this as a gift, I also purchased a syma mini rc helicopter just to give him options to have. This drone sat on the shelf! He said it was it was not really stable and too hard to fly. I jumped in and tried it for myself and I was BLOWN away!
We spent an hour playing with both the drone and the chopper when we both quickly realized that flying this mini drone was a TON of fun and much more rewarding than the rc helicopter, which is now sitting on the shelf!
We both began to quickly master the drone flight controls in that short hour and was flipping it around the house that day. Yes, this little drone does really cool acrobatics! We took it outside and were both amazed at how stable it really was after we got the hang of the controls. This little guy flies pretty high and handled bouncing off the ground really well :) . The flight time is about 10min or so and it charges quickly. The drone fits in the palm of your hand, but is a LOT of fun!
Couple more notes, we never really got the headless mode figured out and realized that it flies better once it had a chance to cool off between sessions.
Anyway, it's almost time to upgrade and I think HolyStone has this thing figured out - so I'm sticking with them and this time, buying one for myself!!!!

This device was awesome... While it lasted... I have often said If I where a cat with 9 lives I would be long dead. I got curious as to how high it would go, so I just went up I did some practice keeping it stable at low altitude and then started going a little higher and higher, keeping it stable. Then I kicked up the throttle and let it go. Well, It we really high... and it drifted a little... then I either miscompensated or a gust of wind came, or I lost control. 3 houses over it got stuck in a tree. I am hoping it will fall down over the next few days. if not I might be getting another. These are fun.
In the image I circled it... blinking in a tree.... a few houses away.. to far out for reach by a ladder, and too far out for climbing. I hope the wind picks up tonight.

This is an amazing little and fun drone. It came in much quicker than I expected by a day and that was with 2 day prime. The color scheme is awesome. I would like to say first to those who have trouble controlling the drone to read the instructions prior to flight and flying a drone takes practice. I have, before, flown drones that do not handle well and this is definitely not one of those. I entertained my white lab in the basement without any crashing issues as he chased the strange object. I recommend starting on the lowest speed setting and I always reset the gyros before flight. The biggest issue with people learning how to fly drones is they do not treat the controller like a gas pedal. It is sensitive and more so at higher settings. Indoors, I like the middle setting best as it is quick but not overly so. I would definitely recommend this drone to anyone with limited experienced to a seasoned veteran. When using the lowest setting I was able to teach someone who had never flown before to easily grasp the concept. Well done Holy Stone!

This is my first drone. I bought it to learn on before possibly moving up to a camera drone. The instructions are not really good and complete for a rookie flyer.but looking forward to learning to fly it. I'm glad I found some fllght instructions on Holystone's web site. They will be helpful. The price is good for an experiment to see if you would like to buy more expensive models.

Ok. I never used a drone before. You do not need to assemble it. At first, it was a bit difficult to maneuver. But I would say that it was my inexperience. We flew it mostly inside. I crashed it a lot in the beginning and hair got in, which was not the product's fault. Then I could not get it to work properly. The website had a video, which was helpful. But I was very impressed with the customer service. They knew what problem was and I was able to fix it. Then, I had to change the propeller and accidently pulled out the cylinder that moves the propeller. When I put it back in, the propeller did not work. This again was totally my fault. So I emailed customer service to see how repair it. Instead trying to guide me, they just offered me a new one. I was like "WOW", that's awesome. Now my daughter, who is 11 years old, figured out how to fly it and she is real good. She can do flips, it hovers, and she flies it all around the house w/o any problem. And she doesn't crashed, which I believe caused all the problems. The new drone flies perfectly and my daughter loves it. I will give this product a 5 star service because they were so willing to give me another drone even though I damaged it. To me, that is a company that backs up its product, which you rarely see. If I upgrade the drone, I would definitely look at Holy Stone first before any product.
