The Pyle PCA4 had everything I needed nothing more nothing less. I had to power 4 speakers. This unit has the ability to power two 8" ceiling speakers, and two 10" outdoor speakers and it gets very loud. I don't know what kind of speakers were built into the place so I was kind of flying blind. The rest of my setup was a Google Chromecast to an HDMI to audio converter, and then from the audio converter over RCA cables right into the Pyle. Android and iOS devices in the house can send music to the Chromecast.
The Pyle delivered us a fantastic summer of music. And my whole setup only cost me $105 dollars. Couldn't have done it without this unit.
The kids danced in the kitchen, played in the back yard listening to music, and everything was much nicer. We use the system everyday, and listen to music everyday for at least 2 hours. I couldn't be happier with this little unit. I am not going for a hifi setup here, I was just going for a nice setup I could enjoy hassle free. I didn't want another bluetooth device/speaker sitting on a counter or table for the kids to knock over or break. And I wanted something simple that anyone in my house could use. This unit and setup delivered flawlessly. Its tucked away in the basement where the speaker wires are sitting on a cabinet.
And then.....it DIED.
Went to turn it on one day. It just wouldn't turn on half way through December 2020 the music stopped. I was way passed the return date for Amazon. So I went to Pyles webpage and contacted Pyle customer support. I got an email response the next day, they asked for proof of purchase, I sent them my Amazon receipt, they said the warranty was in place so they sent me paperwork to fill out.
Customer support was great. They called me to get details, and the emails were quick. Pyle offered some tech support first, I tried and nothing worked. I checked the fuse, the fuse had blown, so I changed the fuse, and the unit still wouldn't power on. So after the tech support didn't solve the problem. I worked out the delivery details with Pyle customer support and despite it being December 2020 Pyle managed to send me an email the first week of January 2021 saying my unit has shipped.
I have never bought a Pyle unit before this one. The price was a major driving factor for me. Yes the unit failed on me, it happens. But Pyle stood behind their warranty, and they made it right. Happy with this product and happy with the customer service I received. They say you get what you pay for, and I was worried when I bought the unit, that I wouldn't get much. But I am pleasantly surprised with how its performed and with the customer service I received. We had a music filled house because of this unit and it made a big difference for the kids.
I have another set of in ceiling speakers in another room in the house. I will be buying another one of these units to use there in the same way for sure.

I needed a very compact unit for a kitchen system to fit on a small shelf. I have three sets of speakers hooked up to it via the Pyle Home PSS4 4-Channel High Power Stereo Speaker Selector : NHT super zeros (86db/watt), and two pair of Parasound C-260 in wall speakers (88db/watt) via nice Kimber 16 gauge in-wall speaker wire that cost considerably more than the rest of the rig. The PCA4 can drive all 3 speakers in series to moderate background levels. It can drive one of the C-260 in-wall speakers to moderately loud dancing levels - but this model speakers isn't particularly beautiful sounding. The Super Zeros, however sound lovely. The point here is that the little Pyle has the resolution to make the smaller less efficient NHT's show their superior fidelity. This little Pyle can produce musically satisfying output to moderately loud levels. If I had more efficient speakers the acceptable sound levels would be higher. If you know of a speaker that combines high efficiency with very small size please let me know (these are normally mutually exclusive features because of the physics of resonance). Speakers with 90db/watt on up would play loudly with good fidelity on the Pyle.
This isn't the rig for critical listening - but it's just fine for small setups. Within its volume limits it sounds admirably clean and musical. That means that the preamp section isn't doing anything egregiously wrong. At this price point that, in itself, is somewhat surprising. Furthermore it doesn't run very hot. Plus it offers RCA and mini jack inputs. My main gripe about it is that the blue output level LEDs are too bright. I covered them up with electrical tape: problem solved. I'll post pictures of my assembled rig with iPod dock up in the photo section.
Bottom line, I needed a cheap stereo in a tiny space and wanted it to sound decent for background area music for entertaining and cooking. This fit the bill perfectly. I've had it for a year and half and it's performed fine the whole time. Saturday morning I crank up rock music and and wiggle while cooking breakfast until my wife comes down mad at having been woken up. That's my seal of approval for a bookshelf system.
