These aren't the highest quality knives out there, but the stand does look pretty cool and saves a lot of counter space, and the knives all come very sharp and ready to use. For what you pay, they're pretty impressive. I've only been using them a couple months now but I can't notice any blunt edges or anything that affects the aesthetic of them.

I bought a set 3 years ago after I sold my house and moved into a high-end apartment and wanted a certain aesthetic in my kitchen. I switched to black silverware and knives. They looked great. I bought a second set to keep as a spare in-case Amazong stopped selling them. Now, 3 years later I just moved into a house and bought my 3rd set (I can't find the other two in all the boxes anywhere, LOL).

As far as durability, I used them regularly for over 2 years at first and they remained sharp and the pain had minor scuffs but didn't peel or anything. I don't know about other people's usage but I'm pretty gentle and careful with my stuff. I used it for cutting steaks, giant butternut squash, tomatoes, frozen chicken, my fingers (accidentally)... and they continued to remain effective and I never sharpened them once. Let's get back to that squash. Those are usually pretty difficult and scary but one of the knives in this set, if you use the right technique will cut right through it like butter.

I can't see myself using any other set. The main thing is the clear holder and black color, it helps to keep the kitchen feeling open and less cluttered.

I attached a picture, can you spot them? They just look like they belong there and out of the way.

The knives are sharp and not too heavy. Also loved the peeler that comes with the set, it has become very useful with its different ways to peel. The color is really nice. Now for the stand. It is Definitely sturdy. But it's design is a little confusing. The slots where the knives go, only let you turn one way. Some go to the right, some to the left. Then there is big gap between the first and second row. So if you're depth perception isn't great, you'll end up sliding the knives into the empty gap instead of their spot.

Die Messer kommen sehr scharf an. Der Schäler sowie der Schleifer sind einfach zu bedienen und qualitativ nicht antastbar. Mit letzterem habe ich auch meine alten Messer geschliffen und auch diese Schneiden wieder wie beim ersten Mal. Der Messerblock aus Plasktik scheint sehr stabil und haltbar zu sein und die Messer lassen sich sehr einfach lagern. Das einzige was mich stutzig macht ist, dass die Klinge scheinbar an einem Metalstück im innern angelehnt wird. Wenn ich es andersrum reinlege, steht ein Teil der Klinge etwas raus. Bei "Klinge auf Metal" stellts mir etwas die Haare auf, darum lege ich die behutsam in den Block damit die Klinge wirklich nur anliegt und nicht schleift. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert!!
