How it Works
The Super Finish Max uses precision brass spray tips and nozzles, which provide superior performance over their plastic counterparts.
With 450 watts of power, combined with an adjustable air cap, the sprayer atomizes paint into tiny particles. These tiny particles are what is necessary for a fine factory-like finish.
Competitor's units can only spray chunks of paint, which after a couple of coats resembles a rough, paint roller-like finish.

Product Description
From furniture and cabinets to fences and walls, the Super Finish Max paint sprayer can cover a wider array of projects and coatings with less thinning and hassle. This High Volume, Low Pressure (HVLP) sprayer has a turbine motor so an air compressor isn’t needed! The sprayer also offers ultimate paint flow customization with six available spray tips (three included), two air caps, and an adjustable flow control knob. The Super Finish Max is ideal for oil or water based materials such as: chalk type paint, milk paint, latex paints, enamels, primers, clear sealer, polyurethane, stain and varnish. 450 watts of power sprays thicker paints with less thinning! The newly-designed pickup tube and cup vent allow for quicker and easier clean-up. The built-in access door makes for easy inlet air filter changes and the large 39-ounce container capacity means less stopping to refill. Includes: Super Finish Max, container lid, cleaning brush, wrench, wide spray pattern cap (yellow), fine spray pattern cap (black) and 4.0 mm (red), 2.0 mm (green), 1.5 mm nozzle and tips (blue). Please reference owner's manual for tips, troubleshooting and thinning guidelines.

Pros:
*Professional finish for a novice
*Ease of use right out of the box
*Lightweight and ergonomically superior to another brand I tried
*Sprays more types of paint than similarly priced big box brand sprayers
Cons:
*Not a heavy duty sprayer (and it is not advertised to be), so thinning the paint to the right viscosity is a bit annoying
*Uses way more paint than rolling
*Does not come with a cap for paint reservoir making it annoying between coats
Time-saving tip:
32 ounce paint sprayer liners are your friends! Paint cannot sit in sprayers long enough for a coat to dry and you can go for round 2. This means that it is best to clean out your sprayer between coats. At first I was thinking man, this is annoying. This raises a problem because as I mentioned 1) the sprayer paint cup doesn't have a cap to store your paint and 2) you need clean water in the spray cup to clear your gun.
*How did I solve this problem? I lined my cup with paint liners and then in between coats, twisted the top, secured it with a tie and stuck it in a larger plastic bag (backup to prevent spills - learned the hard way with gray paint all over my kitchen counter). This meant that I could easily fill my spray cup with clean water (without having to buy an extra one) and clean my gun in no time. When it was time for another coat, I just popped the bag right back in and stirred the paint and got to work! I hope this helps someone!

Update: I used this again and was having problems getting the reservoir tight enough not to leak. It would tighten to a point and then pop and be loose again. I fixed this issue by using the Seran wrap method. I just take a thin strip of seran wrap and wrap it around the threading of the bottle then screw it on and it's air tight. I can even leave paint in it over night then peel off the little bit of dried paint on the nozzle and get right back to spraying.

The biggest problem is - she was right.
I have a large fence that should have been stained a while ago, but wasn't. After spending way longer than expected to clean/prep it, I wasn't looking forward to hours of spraying, but I loaded up the HomeRight thingy and got started. Holy cow - it was fast. I managed to get the whole fence done in an hour or so, and it looks fantastic.
I ordered the cleaning kit, despite some folks giving it a negative review. it was fine - but you might get a bit wet. Everything comes apart nicely and cleans up good as new.
Bottom line - really happy with this sprayer, other than the fact that my wife is walking around with an 'i told ya so' grin, all.day.long.

After using it for a while, I concluded a couple of tricks to use it: 1. thin the paint according to the manual instruction. 2. prepare a wet paper towel or rug to wipe the nozzle when you see dry paint starts to build up there. You can screw off the plastic rings and wipe the metal part (you'll know what I am talking about once you see the sprayer, it's fairy easy and quick) 3. strain the paint before putting it into the canister. This is important, because you never know what's in the paint; the paint would not come out of the nozzle if it gets stuck by chunky stuffs in the paint.
Hope you find this review helpful. Whoever's reading this, gook luck with your project :)
